idk if this is a thread yet but here goes...

Anyway, as AP test season is fast approaching, I thought I'd see what everyone's taking this year.

AP geo, AP lit and comp and AP chem.

I couldve taken ap econ or enviro but naah, waste of money for me. econ sucked a ton.

Taking econ, physics b and English. Feel pretty confident in physics and English. Econ was 1st period and I could hardly stay awake through all the graphs. Its going to be rough.

AP physics b, APUSH, and Ap lang

Fuck physics, just had my practice exam and that shit was death, i should be fine for the other two though.

I got Calc BC,Physics B,English Lang,Government and Macroecon. All should be easy except maybe physics.

Is AP physics hard? I'm good at physics and I am planning on taking that test next year... you guys have me worried haha

I don't think its too bad. Some of the problems require a lot of intuitive thinking but its really just a lot of formulas. Know your formulas and when to use em and youll do fine.

I'm in APUSH and AP lit, apush is going to be a struggle because theres a A$AP Ferg show 2 nights before so we'll see what happens

Its not that it is super hard, but certain aspects are hard like nuclear physics, and thermal physics(at least for me). But stuff like potential energy, kinematics, optics, waves is pretty easy. The practice that i took though had a lot of freaking thermal and nuclear so i got destroyed:)

Fuck, i'm not very good at thermochem so thermophysics might be tough. Nuclear sounds interested as hell though

Yep chem. I havent given a shit about it 2nd semester, so i'm boned for the test haha

Haha just failed the electro chem test today... Should be interesting to say the least

Everyone saying just econ, are you taking both Micro and Macro?

anyways im taking Micro and Macro Econ and possibly Bio.

AP U.S.History and AP Lang. Woo! finna 5 em both no doubt. I've been studying Newschoolers non-stop the majority of the school year.

I'm still just a freshman so I'm only taking one, AP US History. Next year, though, I'm in AP Chemistry, AP Spanish Language, AP US Gov and AP World History.

A kid in my hs took the ap envi sci exam.

Fills in all c

On essays writes "you know what, it just doesnt matter"

On final essay asks to write about an endangered species.

"Velociraptor"

Holy crap that's loaded I also took 4 ap classes... 4/10 would not recommend. Especially since, judging by your username, you're not a native spanish speaker

Human geography and Calc AB. Was going to take the computer science test but my college wouldn't accept it unless I got a 5, and that's not happening.

I got AP Biology and AP Stats.

Time to get my ass fisted in both of them. The AP bio because it's hard, the AP stats because my teacher doesn't know shit.

Just a question for everyone, how difficult are the AP classes in reality? Obviously this is subjective to everyones school, but ive been told AP Lit is easier than the Honors version of the class which must be taken sophmore year. If this is true, does it apply to other AP courses, specifically APUSH?

Like you said its very subjective, but for most schools I've heard ap lit and honors lit is close to the same thing. To put the difficulty of apush into perspective, I have three 150 page notebooks filled with notes, front and back.

Totally subjective. There was only honors US hist at my school last year, and most of us took the apush test. I didn't even have a full notebook of notes. I got a 4. Idk

Nah, I'll be fine. I'm like the smartest kid in my grade.

I don't think the classes are really that hard. You just need to put in a lot of work outside of class and if you don't it makes the class hard. AP classes are good tho. Take them if you can, even if you get a low grade it'll help you in the long run. I have an 88 in AP bio and it's the 2nd or 3rd highest in the class with a class average of a 77 . The class probably hurts peoples overall GPA but when they go to college it will definitely help them.

Holy fucking overkill. If you don't get a 5 on that test with all those notes your doing something wrong.

Haha its graded but honestly taking notes just makes the class go by faster

Calc AB, Psych, Lit. Acing practice tests in calc and psych, fucking stupid ass teacher in lit and the test is going to suck but hopefully I can still get a 3/4.

Word. Took Ap human geography last year and got graded on my notebook. Shit was super lame even though it was only a couple hundred pages by the end of the year. But, I did get a 5 on the test although I've heard that's the easiest test.

I'm taking APES this year and AP Psych and I can probably get another 5 on The APES test but I'm thinking I'll barely pass the Psych test because the class consists "independent study only" which really means we get a lecture about once a month and take a test about once every 3.

Before anyone asks. Yes the psych teacher is at the school only to be a soccer coach and couldn't give a shit about his classes. I honestly don't even trust him enough to ask him a question about the class material.

Ah fuck, are you serious?

Well i'm in latin 3 only and I don't plan on taking it next year, so i'm not the most reliable source but word on the street at my school is that it's fuckin difficult.

Also @lucas i'm pretty sure the APES test is harder than the geo one bahah
