I think that this is total insane bull$#!t
so my understanding is that Rockstar was forced to make GTA San Andres AO because of a nude sceen that was not even in the game (but on the disc) and that some dude from sweeden or somthing coded a crack to unlock the nude sceen.
one of the reasons this is so stupid, is that they were forced to give the AO raiting to the Xbob and PS2 versions of the game. you cant even get the nude sceen on them!
On top of that, IT IS NOT CONTENT THAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE GAME. yes it was on he cd, but rockstar took the content out of the gameplay. it is just like any randome hack/mod/ski you could get for any game off the internet. It wasnt jsut a file you dubble clicked on, and boom, the nude content shows up. A file had to be coded. Quake 3 had nude skins that you could get off the internet, howcome ID didn't get in trouble?
I would just like to say, that if a parent finds out about the content of these games (not counting the nude sceen that I mention) and is unhappy that their child has been playing them, it is ENTIRLEY THE PARENTS FAULT! I guerentee that half the time the parent gets mad about such content is when the parent BOUGHT THE GAME FOR THEIR CHILD. os for the other times, maybe if you as a parent spend some time with your child and payed attention to your child, maybe, just maybe, these mistakes would not happen.
GTA SA is (well, was i guess) raited "M". That stands for mature, and it is suggested that parents dont let kids under the age of 17 play these games, it even gives the spicific reasons on the back of the box. Again, if your child is playing such games and you dont want them to be, it is %100 your fault.
Screw the politicians behind this. Thats right, I'm a liberal and I just said screw you to a bunch of democrats (and maybe a few republicans
). You really think Hillary Clinton knows what a mod is? Of corse not! she just thinks this nude content was simply in the game!
An AO (adult only) raiting will hurt Rockstar. Many stores will not sell GTA anymore because of this. Heck, Sony claims they wont have a AO game on the PS2, so will they stop this game being made on their systems? I thought democrats were supposed to protect freedom of speech, and other such freedoms! Parents need to learn how to be good parents. With or withought violent video games, a child can turn out fine if they have proper parenting. likewise, with inproper parenting, children who dont play video games can turn out wrong. Parents are to blame for their children, and the government should not have to get envolved, they have enough other $#!t to take care of (and they have a hard enough time as it is with that stuff).
Also, I hear that they want to stop the sale of The Sims 2 because of nude skins you can get off the internet for it
