Anybody out there got the low down if there is anywhere skiable in the Bozeman/big sky area after the storms on Sunday? Some buddies of mine went up to Hyalite, and had no luck. However the Bridgers look like they got more snow...

Dude we were ripping nipple deep lines today in the little belts!!!!

ha ha no just kidding but im sure there is enough snow for some rail setups pretty much anywhere in the state you go

some kids went to sac yesterday and said there was about half an inch, which sucks although they did see a full circled rainbow

it snowed about 7 or 8 inches in big sky last night, still snowing. if you have some beater rock skis, you can definately get some skiing in up here right now. i'm hoping to this afternoon.

if we get enough snow in town, i think i might go hit the down flat down behind the irving school. but i just have my nice skis soo well see, but if anyones down to hit it with me, hit me up

nope. still sucks up here. drove around and tried a couple areas, super rocky. not quite worth it yet. couple more good snows and it might be, but not really now.

I don't know if it'll be worth it this weekend, probably lots of core shots waiting to happen. next weekend might be hikable depending on what this weekend/week looks like temp and precipitation wise

we got some jibs set up at big sky friday night. we had the double green rail at the base set up, but were kicked out just as we were about to start hitting. we found some other little shit to mess around with though.

Who has been hitting up sacagawea, we went on sunday and today, it was so fucking good, and we're supposed to get snow this weekend. and pat we'll prolly be going this weekend so room permitting ill hit you up

I am getting pics... We skied Moonlight Sunday and it was sweet, waist deep, a little base, and the groomers were face shot city.

Anybody else up there, our crew was pretty small????

I rode Bridger sunday and monday, it was pretty fun. Sunday there was a little pow and monday it was all a little heavy. We set up a ladder and hit it on monday after we took some laps.

There's a winter storm warning for thursday night through friday and I'm getting my studded tires on tomorrow. Translation: It's ON. In a way that's reminiscent of Donkey Kong. Anybody with AT gear (or an excess of energy and motivation) interested in skiing up Hyalite sometime this weekend?

I might go skiing thursday if I have time, it snows, and I have some rock/AT skis by then. Today I'm ass-deep in a brake bending job, which looks hawt right now. Ninja race heels + wide brakes = awesomeness.

solly ninjas?? I just did the same exact thing on Sunday, but I just popped new wide brakes on.

Nah, they're the p12 race bindings that have been on ebay lately. I used to ski salomons, but after blowing up two pairs of s912's in one season back when I was 130lbs I've moved to Look/Rossi. I'd probably give the 916's a try though.

I agree, I have had more blow-ups from 912s than I have from markers. But Yeah, the 916s are sweet, so are 914s.

I just went yesterday to moon light and hiked to the top it was super sick. We hit a jump and everything. ITs well worth it.

Today i just drove up Hyalite Canyon and turned onto a dirt road and drove up that a little ways. I was just looking for something to jib, and then i came around a corner and there was a rail set up on the side of the road. It's a pretty fun rail, but the landing is a little rocky. I hit it till dark and then came back to the dorms.

It looks like we might have some snow to ski on next week, too bad I'm not going to be here. In fact, I might even be biking in Moab. Anyways, now that I've done my part to jinx it, what are you gonna do?

i think that is the rail me and some friends brought up. was there two? a 12' flat (maybe a tiny bit down) that is an old handrail and then a short urban style down. the inrun for the first comes out of the trees.

exactly, i went up there again yesterday and there was still enough snow for the 12 ft one, but it's melting fast. the blue one was on its side, not set up anymore. By the way, thanks for bringing those up there, the down one is super fun
