you say that like resorts don't already rake in money to build new stuff and repair broken features.

also they do that in a resort near me called Summit at Snoqualmie... kinda weird though because you can hop into the lower part of the park without a pass
 
Chair 5 basically is the park lift. I know it sucks and it stops a lot but it's basically like the a51 lift. it's not the lift that's a problem it's the location of the park. it's hard to miss and the first thing you see when you get off the gondy. if it was tucked back like a51 at the top of the mountain you'd see a lot less gapers and shorter lift lines. if they put a "park lift" in, where would they put it?

I think park passes are a great idea, it just fucks over those who don't have a pass or ski there regularly. if I'm buying a lift ticket it definitely sucks that I have to spend even more money just to ski the park one time...in turn it makes me less inclined to go there for a day and check it out. still very effective though, if it's your home mountain.
 
^this is too fucking right. I've nearly taken out so many dumb fucks who decide to have a fucking picnic lunch on the landing of the fucking 40 footer. Fuck.

I wish we had this in NZ, (exception Snow Park-{thank you})
 
searchbar. there was a long thread on this about a year ago with some good info. called paying for the park pass or something
