so im sorta on a budjet and am in mad need of a pow ski, i want a ski that can ski throw the pow awesome but at the same time a ski for BC booters and landing switch etc... so how are the mo ships and where did you mount yours and for what reasons?? I often get caught going skiing and finding the snow conditions great but im stuck with my park skis which are really a stress in pow or choppy snow, or when i get my salomon screams (non twin tip) and find the snow pretty shitty and want to lap the park, and or BC booters.

oh yeah im 5'7 and 135lbs but the difference between the 172cm mo ships and 182 moships is the 90 underfoot compared to the 97 underfoot, but like i say i want it to be good for park and booters so i dont know which size, i ski 170 ar5

What about getting 182 and mounting center or really close to, will the ski be big enough to float pow center mounted and at the same time be snappy and quick enough for park and BC booters.

I ride Moships center mounted as my park ski, but this last year in tahoe, there were a lot of days where I haaaad (sarcasm) to ride some pow in the morning until they cleard the park. They are sick (even center mounted, I was stunned) in the pow, so floaty and shralpy. I only skied them in like 1' and under (i have JPs for the big dumps), but they do great. I love them because they are super stable, you couldn't do much better than the mo's, they are super versatile.

what size of moships did you have^?? and you say that they ski pow centermounted pretty good.

yeah im now deciding between 182 and 172, difference is 172 is 120-90-110 , and the a 182 is 127-97-117, so if the 172 is centermounted will it still float on the pow pow, maybe 2cm behind true??

moships are the sickest ski i've owned to date. i had them center mounted but i suggest mounting them back a little because the centermount felt slightly weird to me. but they rip the pow and slay BC booters!

i'm 5'5 15 pounds and i rode moships for a couple seasons.  i think for an everything ski the 172 would be great for you.  mount 1 inch back from dead center and you'll be perfect cuz you'll have a light ski for park and swing weight won't be an issue at all.  1 inch back mounting will be plenty to shred pow forward and at the same time you won't have any issue landing switch.  do it.  do it now.

I'd get the 182 if I were you man, more float, plus once you ride longer skis you'll find that you like them alot better than the shorter ones, trust me.

no way man dont get 182. get 172 for sure. im 6'1 175 and i had 172's. yeah they were slightly short but they still were sick. 172 would be perfect for you.

bump for is 172 with the 90 underfoot wide enough for POW and BC booter use, ladning switch in POW, and im thinking centermounted still wide enough for all of this?? If i do get these i will def be centermounted or no less than 2 cm behind center.

try to find the old one with the titanium powerband... 172 might be short if your not going to do park, take the 182 and just mount them as they are supposed to be (back from center...)

i got my moships and they are light as hell... but they are still unmounted... but are skis usually this light? cause my moships are SO light haha

wow 330 for blemished moships is not a good deal at all.. although mine did have a bit of a bump/bubble on one of the skis tails... wasnt too happy with that but oh well

next years mo ships are being replaced by the chronic blend i think, and you can definately get away with a 172 being that you're not that big, but mount 2 back from center, it should be perfect for you
