Anyone with experience with the 07 fischer addicts

most likely my skis next year... how did u like them? hows durability so far? how are they in park? fun skis ? soft or stiff? price? how do they compare with this years ninthward first bloods if you know?

if you cna answer any of these it would help
 
so you dont know anything about them, but theyre most likely the ski you will get

are you getting some kind of discount or something?
 
yeah, you should probably get to know the ski before you decide on it, but i ahvent heard nething about htem
 
picked up one today

pretty stiff, heavy even with a pair of salomons on them they felt rally heavy

they look really sweet as well, true twin 2

hopefully i will be demoing a pair soon
 
no the tip and the tail of the fischers are the same, if you go on the fischer site and check out diff. countries other then US or canada, they have a lil info on the ski in the video thing they have up part III gives you the most which isnt much but enough
 
Addicts are sick! durable, true twin, layer of titanal underfoot, transparent die cut bases...114-84-114. Lines true twin was actually a couple mm's off the same exact dimensions i believe. They are fairly light, and on the stiffer side. $399. Derek spong, AJ burton, richie paradise, and Kyler cooley are all on them.

The habit is right below it. $299. 111-81-111. true twin as well. lighter and softer.

hope this helps. if you get a chance to demo them definitely do it, you will not be disappointed.
 
I just had a chance to take a pair of 181 Addicts for a run.

They are completley symetrical (in-fact the rep had one ski mounted forward, one backwards...) I thought they were pretty good, definitely a park only ski. Jumps were very predictable and landings were solid and damp. For 181's, they were sure easy to manuever, spinning was not a problem and they also killed it in the pipe.

I can't comment on durability, but they seemed to be very solid.

I've been riding some old Scott Intoxica P2's 175cm w/ Salomon S900 bindings.

The Addicts definitely felt heavier, but they also had demo bindings on them.

For comparison the Elan Mo2 175cm with demo bindings was much heavier.

It sure didn't feel like I was skiing 181's, I thought they skied more like a 175 or so.

I wish I could have ridden them more, they were so smooth in the pipe!
 
The flex and weight of them reminded me of the AR5s except these are completly symmetrical. Sick skis for sure, solid choice for next season.
