Anyone watching the Freeskiing nationals?

Wasn't watching because I was skiing. But, that is amazing that it's on TV. Big mountain comps are super fun to watch!
 
I've been at snowbird watching it. It was overhyped if you ask me. There wasn't anything to crazy going on like I have seen in the past videos.
 
That was the strongest women's field ever. Jackie hit a double stager with like 60ft total drop, guys were hucking front and backflips all over the venue. Shit got thrown down, who gives a flying fuck about "hype".
 
shit was waayyy gnar bar for sure. i got to shoot a bunch of it...hopefully i can throw up a lil something something on here for you guys to peep some of the gnarlier lines that got skied. shit was SO BADASS! any one see the girls backflip over that little hump at the end? not even in the competition run but she still hucked a big oll backie.
 
i was there too, and i thought it was pretty awesome. some of the doubles they took, or the one in the ampitheatre that they turned into a single, they were rowdy.

the crowd was pretty damn rowdy too. could you guys on the web hear all the firecrackers going off all afternoon?
 
Big mountain comps= WAY underrated. I cannot wait to start competing in these once I figure out the scheduling (and am of age and back in the states).
