So I arrive in Breck for the Winter on the 31st October and don't have anywhere to live when I get there. Si I'm gonna be searching for a place like mad as I want to get settled and stuff.
But would anyone in Summit, preferably Breck put me up for a couple of days until I find somewhere?I'll throw you some money or drink, or whatever you want for being legit. Or I will happily be your crews photog for the season. Whatever, i just need somewhere to lay my head until I find somewhere.I won't be working but have enough money to see me through, so I'd be up for skiing a-bay on the 1st.
Also, if anyone wants a housemate or some extra cash for the season I'm looking for a place, Just let me know what you got. Or, If you want a photographer with full setup and lighting get up that'll happily travel to comps with you, the I'm your skier, we could talk reduced rates or whatever if you fancy it.
Peace

i'd have to ask my roommates, but you might be able to sleep here for a couple days. thing is you need a car as there's no bus over here (in blue river, 2 miles south of breck)

We could put you up for a bit while you find a place. It's just a studio, so you will probably be crashing on the floor. If you find something better, let me know, if not shoot me a PM and I'll send you some contact info.

Ryan, I don't have a car man, so it wouldn't really make sense for me to be down with you, thanks for the offer though, it's super legit of you. Hopefully get to ski with you sometime this season man. +karma
akneipp - that sounds like a sweet offer man. Are you in Breck? It'd be good to find out a bit more info on it man, like are you sure there'd be room for me to crash down for a couple of days? Are you gonna be skiing A-basin on the 1st? I'm really grateful for the offer man, it'd be sweet to find out some more. max. karma

Anyone know of a good photo shop either in Summit, Denver or Boulder? I need some new equipment and would rather support a local guy than B&H.

Can put you up for a few days while you find a permanent place. The condo is closer to Keystone, about a 20 minute bus ride to Breck. If you can stand to sleep on the floor (I have a spare air mattress I could bring up), you're golden. I won't be skiing A-basin until later in the month, but I know my roommate is up almost every weekend. If you only plan on being there a few days, a bit of beer will probably cover the bill.

^Thanks big time man. PMed
Just wanna whore myself out like mad.If you're an up and coming AM/pro living in Breck for the season and wants a photographer for you and your crew, for all season, all comps and all urban with a complete setup then please get at me, The please get at me, I'm still happy to pay rent and am not in need of a seperate bedroom, a living room bed setup will do or just a bed in the utility room, or whatever, just get at me.I am looking to break in out as a photog this year, I have had a few shots published over here in the UK, sports and still life. Skiing is where I want to take it as I love it, I'm pretty inventive with composition and would love to take this to a full time status.
Or if you have anything that you think will be good for me, up to about $600 a month then I'm keen too.
Peace

Anyone else got any offers, short term or long term?
Just thought I'd let anyone in Denver/Boulder know that I'm driving from Boulder to Breck on Haloween this week, need to leave by about 2pm, so let me know if anyone wants a ride up.
