dude, I wasn't claiming, I was merely commentingon the quailty of camera I have, and therefore my equipment would produce a better quailty edit than with something like a GL2, vx2100, or your average crappy 500 dollar walmart camera.

apparantly the hvx has a noninterchangeable lense? isnt that kindof a pretty big downisde to that camera?

naw dude, don't get too worked up. this kid knows what he's doing, he got the camera in like late april so not much filmy-time on it yet. check my profile, its got the vid from his vx21, its not amazing, but the stuff he is doing now looks like its gonna turn out sweet.

based on that, i wouldnt say even if you had a hvx you'd do any better... all your shots on a feature are from one angle...you copied a song from another movie....and it comes back to the point you have to actually beable to functionally use your camera to produce something well, as well as edit will....you cant buy a 5000 dollar camera and all of a sudden have better material than other kids out there...i mean props if you do. that was a cool little vid dont get me wrong....but even if those shots were w/ a hvx it doesnt do shit...except maybe a few slow mo shots on little features.
and why claim to make something better then somebody else? are you trying to prove a point? i mean really maybe you could make something better then landis. but who cares, i doubt landis does, he has fun doing what he does as do many other kids that film. I think your getting way to flexible and need to stop riding your dick so much...the mere fact that you said it would blow something of "Landis's" out of the water, which is irrelevant, because there are alot of talented filmers/editors on this site...it still shows your ego is grown way to far. for all i care your hvx stuff could be better then mine...cool sweet, w/e dont freakin put yourself on a pedostal though.

I highly doubt you could even come close to blowing landis out of the water especially since you say you've had a good camera and not been posting your stuff. I see you have one clip but if you're really trying to compete with landis or anyone else you gotta show your stuff.

i'm not competing with anyone. I film for fun. sometimes I think people get too wraped up with one film maker or one editer, then don't realize that there could be equal quality segments out there. hate all you want, but there is a reason why i don't post vids on ns
