So, who out there wants to buy me a Canon GL2 or XLS1?? My birthday is on August 3rd if you wanna surprise me with it.....

haha, anyways, my friend wants to buy a GL2 and his parents were foolish enough to say they'd pay half on a camera he'd buy. So where can I find an extraordinarily good deal on a GL2?

DO NOT BUY FROM INS DIGITAL WORLD!!! I ordered a different Canon on June 27th, and called today (July 3rd) to see if it had been shipped, and the guy was a dick and eventually told me that the camera I ordered was the European version (the plug to charge it would be different) and that the camera came with a '15 minute battery, but we can sell you a 2-hour one for only $60'. Too bad the camera comes with a 2 hour battery. Call them up and make sure that it is in stock and the right one. He wanted to charge me $330 more for the 'US version'.

Thanks for warning me about INS digital. I was thinking about buying another camera from there, but now I probably wont. I found another place that has the same price on the camera I want so I will probably get it from there.

 
Yeah, I don't know about INS digital, but if you call and talk to the guy just make sure that the right model is in stock. But if you found it somewhere else, just still call first...that's the lesson I learned from my INS digital experience...
