i just downloaded it...looks pretty similiar to napster...but i cant download shit...nothing works..is it me or does it take a mad long time to get shit off their..though the selection is terrific

meh, i use it sometimes, but i've never really had a problem with it taking that long.

its great, it has such a good selection. it takes awhile to start downloading because you are put in a line behind other people who also want the song. so you just wait for your turn.

When you are downloading make sure you either choose the files that are black (90% of the time it will download without delay) or if you choose a grey file colored file just go under the transfer tab and right click file name and choos 'get place in line'. You will have to wait to get songs, but it usually doesn't take a long time. Just select a ton of files, minimize and forget about it. It will seem to go pretty quick then.

when u search, download the ones that are darker, not the gray ones, then they will start wright away.

I love it! it is great for less common stuff and I tihnk it is prutty fast

great if you want to get a lot of songs and you have highspeed. bad if you want one particular song that isn't very popular and you have dialup. if you find someone that has a fast connection you can get 2 albums in a matter of minutes.

yeah. there's a lot more indi and unknown stuff. but if only one guy has it and it won't connect then you won't get it. I've got a ton of songs that have been trying to download for the whole fall semster of school.

yeah i have soulseek, kazaa, klite, winmx, and ares. i've found that ares is the easiest to use and is the fastest although i haven't really given soulseek a fair chance.

i formerly was a user of limewire, just downloaded soulseek a minute ago, so far i like it but its gonna be hard to get used to
