i am looking to get a bike, to use mainly for park, im beginning but i dont suck, i want something inexpensive but not shitty, does anyone have any suggestions?
 
Order a Fit complete off of Empirebmx.com. Fit bikes are super solid, perfect weight, and a rad company. They support the industry well and put out a great product. Don't buy a mongoose or a gt complete. They are uber lame!
 
^ good luck trying to get anything off of pinkbike.

I would go for a complete haro, they arent the best bike, but they are perfect for just beginning.
 
look up stuff in dans comp, they tell you if its a beginners bike or not, but go for something light, because you want light for park
 
GTs are pretty good and inexpensive. I got a frame on ebay for 99 cents, no joke, cost like $40 Canadian shipping though. then I just got a starter build kit from Danscomp.com for $140. That website is worth checking out, they ahve some pretty decent deals. I think Hoffman bikes are pretty cheap, and Kink too.
 
Dood Fit complete, i'm tellin' ya. Or if you must get a Subrosa, Kink, Verde, Hoffman, or WeThePeople complete off of Dans Comp. Stay away from pinkbike or ebay unless you really know what you are looking for. It is also worth it to invest a little more if you can. There can be pretty big differences in parts for $50 to $100 more, and you don't want to skimp on bike quality. That shit will come back to bite you real quick.
 
Eastern is another nice brand. I work at a shop to if you have any questions. The problem with mail order, is 9 times out of 10 something wasn't assembled correctly. Bike shops usually don't have that problem because we have more time than an assembly line person to assemble and check them over .
 
this is really stupid but if you say something like what kind of bike do you ride you would say a bmx

you could also say, he bmx's

what if i say what kind of car do you drive you say a bmw

could you also say he bmw's or he is a bmwer or lets go bmwing?

Fit Bike Co. makes dope bikes. Definitely get one of their completes. And as you get more into it, check out Tree Bicycle Co. They make awesome sprockets, stems, etc. It's all build super tough.
 
BMX stands for bicycle moto cross, whereas BMW stands for Bavarian Motor Works, so its not quite the same.

Fit is sick, but not always the least expensive.....Tree does amke awesoem parts, love their stuff.

a bit off topic, but from looking up parts in Dan's comp i figured out how to make a 18 pound BMX, but it is well over $2 grand
 
and than they're destroyed in next to know time

i bought one paid about 700 can
loved the big it was sick had
right side drive and everything.
one or two years later not even
if i wanted to ride it agian id need to replace the crank and entire back wheel set.
 
isn't $700 pretty expensive for a BMX? at the bike shop I go to, Integral Bel Air is $700 and it's liek teh best 1 there.
