My dad gave me an awesome gift for Christmas, a Marshall Stanmore speaker like this:

I have a Marshall amp I love, but was honestly surprised how great this thing sounds. I put my laptop and my record player through it....but the speaker itself is pretty big and I'm struggling to find a place for it on my small desk where I play guitar and put my computer. I don't want to, but I think I need to trade this bad boy for some bookshelf style speakers that I can move to the corners and out of the way.

TLDR: Does anyone have a high quality set of desktop speakers that would be able to produce the quality and power of the Marshall Stanmore my pops got me? An RCA input/multiple inputs would be a sweet bonus.

My good friends sister got one of those for Christmas I was super impressed by the sound quality of it. I would keep that on a coffee table or on a corner table, perfect style speaker for a living room/den

They are not the best looking speakers but the Klipsch KSB 1.1's are some of the best bang for the buck you can get. You can usually find them on Craigslist for around $60 when they come up. I have been into audio for a while and have extremely high end stereo setup but am still impressed by those little guys. You will need an amp for them through but this little guy is cheap and sounds really good as well:
