Anyone ski backcountry?

Heading up to Berthoud on Friday me thinks.....going to have to keep it PC in Floral as I pawned my beacon this summer (doh!).

Hoping for some new snow.

Really? I've never been there in person but I was reading an article about it in a snowboard mag and it looks mad fun. I also heard there is a bc gap in that area as well that resembles chads/pyramids. Has anyone seen it or hit it?
