Anyone sick of Freeskier?

I feel like everytime I flip through a Freeskier I am constantly looking at the same people. And they are all connected to Colorado. Seems like if you are friends with the Freeskier guys, you can get into the magazine...any thoughts? I'm just getting bored, and I think they focus on Colorado too much when there is a huge industry outside of CO. My thoughts anyways.
 
yeah dude it's fucking sick. soooooo many good articles on sick mountains. i spent an hour reading the entire thing in the bathroom today.
 
dhurr. when they chinzed me on my subscription two seasons ago, i vowed to boycott them as long as i live.
 
ya its bunk that lampert won fantasy freeride when they never ever updated itand lets see some europe/new zeland coverage the only good thing freeskier made was the road trip challenge and they lost the remaining footage
 
hell yeah

the people are good and the people who write for it are good too but there are so many ad's that it's just like reading a catalog. i mean don't get me wrong i know it pays the bills and more ads means more money for everyone but where is the line? i think they should chill a little bit... also i never really understoon the whole august/sept.-jan/feb. period, personally march and april are my favorite months to ski - pow and spring park skiing best of both worlds
 
on a side note oh mike clarke, i think he had like 6 shots/adds in the november issue of freeskier, he's the man. ayayay.
 
no its deffinatly getting sicker. ive been reading it lately. deffinatly some sick articles. funner to read then to look through freeskiers book of adds
 
Skiing is getting better. They got Jake Bogach at the helm. Jake has written/worked for Powder and came from SBC Skier.
 
freeskier is over 50% advertisements. the articles are poor and have a shitload grammer and spelling mistakes. my prescription ran out and i dont plan on renewing it.
 
I wonder if they are having fantasy freeride this winter considering they never send the prizes from last year out...
 
Im sick of people complaining about Freeskier. Its the only thing this industry has. Magazines are a dying industry. There arent going to be any new ones, so savor what we have left.
 
Skiing magazine has definitely gotten way sicker. It was either that or Ski had T wall in an issue and Jon was in another doing a trick tip. They're starting to put trick tips in and write more about big mountain than carving or racing. The only thing I hate is when they rate a resort on luxury, not the skiing. That's more ski magazine though. Skiing did a great job on the resort rating system this year.
