meh. it looks sick, but id rather go to a best buy and look at microsoft products, yeeeeeee.

i live pretty close to it so i figured id dip over to cop a a free shirt and check it out the night it opened, there was a line that was like 3 blocks long, people waited for 7 hours to get in right when it first opened. i went yesterday though and its pretty sick, unnecessarily big, but cool nonetheless.

just checked it out yesterday. place was sooo crowded you couldn't move. the all glass staircase in the middle of the store was ballerrrr

The one in NYC was crazy when I went there. The use of glass is really nice.

But they do have a ridiculous amount of free space, for sure.

They are all into astetics in their marketing/sales and in creating their products. It's nuts how much of an overhead they must have for a place like that, but with the sales and buzz they are generating, it's defintitley offsetting it.

no way mac makes a profit!?!???!! holy fuck a business that makes a lot of money.... they might be on to something there...

Apple makes has a ridiculous markup. You pay such a premium for their style. You can get a computer equivalent in power for 1/2 to 3/4 as a Mac.

It's perfectly fine, I hope they keep making goobs of money off the world's trendwhore so I can keep making goobs of money off their stock. I'll just never buy a Mac myself.

that building used to be owned by my dads bosses company, iv known they were building a mac store there for years but never imagined it could be that amazing

Cut the sarcasm, it's kind of obnoxious.

I've used Macs, I went to all an all Mac high school and have worked at a few places that only used them as well. I've also been using PC's my entire life. With a little knowledge/skill and intelligence, PCs are amazing. Although Mac's are great for certain things, I think they get a lot of their reputation for being more or less idiot proof. Unless you do a lot of video editing, I'd recommend a PC for any computer-savvy person looking at getting a new computer.

well then they must be idiots i have broken one and it was cuz a water bottle broke open in the same pocket of my bag as my ipod.

and i wasnt referring to the ipod anyway i was referring to computers that you dont have to reformat every couple months and that dont get the blue screen of death daily

I've had my powerbook break down on me about every 6 months under heavy use. Just today when I got into work I had to restart my quad 2.5 PowerPC G5, our xsan breaks down every month. My iphone has issues with programs crashing, the $50 Iphone video out cord is janky as fuck sometimes I get a message saying it wasn't designed to work with Iphone. Fact of the matter is that you love apple dick and will defend it till the end no matter what anyone else says, you don't care that they rip you off as long as they have a sleek design and PC bashing commercials(which obviously work on the most braindead of society).

i absolutely done with apple's iPODs. ive had 3 of them and all have broke for no reason. the only apple product i like is itunes, its free and simple.

well lets see i went from a PC that i had constant problems with to my current macbook which i have a NONE. and from a dell dj mp3 player that i went through 8 of in a year to an ipod that broke once when i drowned it. sorry that i like products that work.

you honestly have to have the shittiest computer imagineable, and be the most retarded person imaginable to get the blue screen of death these days. I have an old computer with parts in it from 1995! and i never got the blue screen of death running it ever. unless your running windows 98, your probly never going to get it.

so shut it.

i hope you get the mac frowny face.

hahaha it's true. i am not gonna lie i pretty much destroyed my pc with viruses and stuff that were totally avoidable i just didn't really care too much...reformatted it then got my mac. idk i like mac better but yeah you shouldn't get the blue screen if you pay attention.

All of these negative vibes in here are really worrying me about getting a mac. It really depends on the user. If you download videos that you know have virus' on a PC you are going to get a virus and continually have to reformat the fucking computer. That is why you back shit up. Even when i get a mac I plan on backing up consistently. So it really has to do with the user I think. Needless to say that store looks abnormally large in comparison to the 30 or so products that Mac has. Now i am worried with all of these negative Nancy type comments..ummm

Jwenz do NOT let all these negative bitches discourage you from buying a mac. They are the fucking SHIT. I was PC for life til I got to college and bought my first Powerbook, just graduated college today and bought a new Mac Book pro cause I have been so happy with my first. Macs>PC

you're a fucking liar kid. I have an old dj and it still works perfectly, I have a friend who has one even older than mine that still works. You keep repeating yourself "products that work" even after a bunch of us gave you expamples of where apple products have failed us. Most of you other guys are comparing 10 year old computer w/ windows 95 to brand new macbooks, obviously there's gona be a difference. And if you arn't having problems with your computer, chances are you don't need the specs you paid for.

dude don't worry about it. i was a PC user forever, and was damn good with them before i got my macbook. it is seriously sooo much nicer, you don't have to worry about nearly as much, and it's great for video/music/photo shit. plus there are all kinds of apps etc. for doing pretty much anything you could do on a PC and then some.

so im a liar about the dj but you arent a liar when you say that every person you know breaks their ipod? whatever dude. and my pc wasnt that old it was mebbe 2 or 3 years running xp. im not telling you to you have to get a mac, but i personally have had a better experience with it.
