Anyone seen Deadmau5 live?

yeah im considering going a week from today, but mainly cuz the show is at the ballys casino pool in atlantic city, i have a free hotel room i can use and my friends will pay for my ticket since i am getting the room.

but yeah i'm curious as to how the actual show is.

deadmau5 is pretty good live, and the more hype he keeps getting from the lil hipsters = the more money, = better shows. Hes added a really good lighting setup to his shows now
 
seeing him in MTL august 1st! my friends went to a show of his in TO and said it was unreal, gotta roll out though
 
same here, I bet i will still be feeling 'groovy' when i get to class in the morning the following day, probably won't bother sleeping.
 
seen him live in Newcastle, UK. His set was shit - did a whole mashup of pretty commercial chart music. Massively disappointed - I guess it depends on what your expecting. Just my two cents - would definately give him another chance though
 
I didn't enjoy his set very much when I saw him. Thought he was very generic and didn't really remix any of his songs. If you want to just hear albums versions of his stuff really loud then it'll be worth your time. Probably my least favorite live DJ I have ever seen and I really enjoy his music most of the time.
 
That's not what he does though, so its no wonder you were disappointed when you were expecting that. He isn't a DJ, he plays dance music. Sometimes it was repetitive, but I got chills when he started playing the hard intro to more ghosts n stuff. And it would definitely be fun with some drugs and/or alcohol in you.
 
love deadmau5, but never seen him live. Im thinking bout goin down to chi town though for the show Ill pm ya im I head there.

 
Sorry "producer." The rest of his colleagues in the industry don't seem to mind the title so I guess I wasn't aware that he decided he was different. Sure I got excited when he played ghost's n stuff and his harder better faster stronger remix but for the most part I just thought his set was ho hum. Also I was sadly not drunk so that may have helped lol.
 
I saw him at bonnaroo a few weeks back and it was one of my favorite shows at bonnaroo. The light show was insane and the crowd was crazy. The only complaint about a show like this is that it doesnt really take much talent to perform he just turns on his computer has a set list plays that and just waves at the crowd. His mask was fucking awesome though.

But with that being said it was still insane and I would definitely go again but on more drugs.
 
Dead-Mao-Five is leik, my favorite techno band. I love his song additional gouls, and things its my favorite lawl I was roolllinnggg my face off when I saw him. I was liek giving these crazy sweet lightshows and making out with twelve-year-olds. LAWL!
But seriously, he's pretty good, but nothing special.
 
Yah I want to go to that really bad, there was another one recently that was Benny Bennassi, Mastercraft and Deadmau5
 
ive seen him at creamfields, really enjoyed it just wish he had played a few more of his own tracks. and will be seeing him again in croatia in august.
 
i went pretty much just for that song the concert was free soo i kinda went for 10 minutes then left it was during the olympics
 
a bunch of my friends saw him at sasquatch. none of them really liek deadmau5 but they all agreed it was teh best show they've ever seen. definitely go!
 
never seen him live, would love to though.

i mean this doesn't look like a bad time at all.

saw him in chicago last friday rolled for the first time, shit was epic. plan on seeing him here in SLC on the 16th possibly at GDF on the 17th right after. highly recommend seeing him live the light show is amazing, its the one from coachella, same guy who did the light show for alive 2007 for daft punk. i would recommend rolling too haha.
 
Just saw him in Detroit for the first time this weekend. It was still real sick but he created this massive build up at the end and didn't end up dropping anything, then lights just switched off and he disappeared. That was kinda a disappointment.
