I can't believe rowing is actually an NCAA sport. Look at other sports, such as rugby, which isn't recognized by the NCAA. this makes it a club sport, which isn't cool for such an awesome game. now rowing....these crew guys dont even work out hard, except during practice. most of the other sports out there spend their time in the weight room getting stronger for hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, you name it. when i see a rower in the weight room, they're on the rowing machine making their unbelivably scrawny bodies even scrawnier. to sum it up, rowing is for fags

dude you dont want big arms for rowing..it is all about the legs....and on top of that i know our team is a club team and we work out more as much as any other team.....it helps with skiing however you look at it...stronger legs makes it easier to ski harder shit and gives u more control.

i row for my high school. best shape i have ever been in in my life... well everything except for my hands. it does actually help a lot with skiing.

i have dual race this weekend... first of the season.

yeah, i row, and it is the fucken hardest physical thing ever. It is literally like 3 times harder than any sport ive done before including soccer and lacrosse. Its the power of some fast twitch like sport, but is actual quite prolonged!
