Anyone play ULTIMATE?

My old highschool team (Canisius Disc-iples) won 3rd place in NYS two years ago, and my old coach is the NY state coordinator. I wish i still played...
 
we have ultimate frisbee fridays, which means get drunk and high and toss a frisbee around, all sumer long every friday. kinda makes my week
 
Hahaha. I moved from Northeast PA to Cincinnati for grad school and one of my friends asked me if I wanted to play frisbee golf or "frolf." I thought he was seriously kidding, because I never knew it existed. It turns out that after a couple beers it's fun when you're not competitive.
 
I love a good frisbee sesh, but when you take it to this level it is just fucking dumb. I would throw with my friends at this GIANT grass circle, and the ultimate fags kept getting in the way with their 'training' haha.

Watching people take this seriously is like going to the bowling alley or roller rink as a kid and seeing the queer-dos with the serious faces doing serious things all serious and shit. It makes me feel better about myself.

and frolf is a stupid name. disc golf is the shit though, so chill. it basically means get stoned and chill with friends, usually in nice, scenic places.

frisbee golf sounds terrible, until you grab some beers and start playing non competitively. You also can't have a specific course. We would literally just be standing out there, then someone would point at a random object, and that would be the target.

but ultimate frisbee is only fun if you aren't playing on a team. We had a group of frisbee players try to kick my soccer team off a soccer field, claiming they needed it to practice. Since of course you need soccer nets to play frisbee.....
 
Ha that last part is hilarious. Those fairies are pretty easy to stand up to. Competitive frisbee is like the bottom sport on the totem pole, its for those select few kids who are utterly incapable of doing any actual sport but still want to be "athletes".
And frisbee golf is lame as fuck. Drinking beer and smoking blunts is what real golf is for.
 
Hey man way to stereotype. Your blatant generalization of all ultimate players as fairies and ultimate being for people incapable of any "real" sports is...well, stupid. All types of people play ultimate, mainly because its a fun sport void of the usual competitiveness found in your "real" sports.

And frisbee golf is so much cheaper than real golf, they're not even comparable as far as playing it every day.
