Im looking to get into it and am probably going to get an 04 spyder imagine as my first one. I can get the gun and mask and all that shit for like 150. Anyone have any suggestions for shit to buy?

yeah dude thats a dope set up to start out with. the first thing u should do is buy an air system for it. like it should come with co2 u just need to up grade to air it will shoot sraighter farther more consistently. and will last alot longer than co2.

 
Get a tippmannn if you're just getting into it. you can't fuck them up no matter how hard you try, and woodsball and milsim shit is way better than speedball.

spiders are good starters, but if u wanna really get into it plan on spending some money eventually. I started off with a tippman and currently have an angel ir3 (not the fastest or newest, but fast enough for me and accurate as hell)... yeah so I was on a speedball team for a while, its pretty cool stuff. have fun, its a cool sport.

well i was way too lazy to read all that shit, but don't get an 04 imagine to start off with. Every single spyder is exactly the same excluding the EM1 which is out of production. They all have exactly the same internals with varied designs. If you really want to get a sweet gun, by a spyder victor off of ebay for like $60, buy an electronic trigger with a bob long torpedo regulator. Then save up for an electronic hopper, i would recommend the Empire Reloader because it is a sound activated hopper so its sweet and always gets a ball down there. Oh right, i fogot the most important part, the absolute first thing you want to upgrade is your barel, it is crucial. Get something like a 14' JJ Ceramics, All-American, Boomstick something like that cause those are some of the best. Get all that setup and you will have a pimpin setup that will waste pretty much anybody. A great site to look on for presetup guns that are used but in great condition, parts, hoppers, anything is www.spyderea.net in the trading bunker, they also have loads of advice and great moderators to help you out.

fuck tippmans and spyders they blow chunks .. get an ebladed cocker or an impulse something that will move. spyder is a wast of time i find the best way to get into paintball is to save up and by the best gun off the bat instead of going thro like 4 'starter guns' to see if you like it .. every one likes it its so much fun. get good at speed ball and enter some trenys with like a 3 man team and paintball is tuns of cash man i'm warning you be prepared to spend thousands of dollors

oh and when you get a hopper, if you get the empire reloader which is sick for a spyder, get the original not an empire reloader B or empire reloader 2, the orginal is awesome and will only cost you about $30

rippingbumpski... exactly what pro team did you play for? also ya i guess if a spyder is all your budget allows thats a decent entry gun, i would also reccomend a tippman over that, but if possible just wait a bit, save some more money, and get a better gun such as a DM4, DM5, any angel or a timmy.
