It seems like almost all the kids I see now (kids of all skills) were'nt even around for that. To those that were do you remember how dope that was? When this was new as hell. And degenerates too. I am so glad to see how far this has come, and how it did'nt die out like so many people thought it would. Rad!

i started the year that 13 came out, it was prety intense, whoever could throw the biggest spin owned the mountain

yeah...the year 13 came out i started doing 360's..then the next year i started doing backflips and trying to hit jumps backwards and stuff, and grabs and stuff

i love 13, i had been watching the msp movies before that and those are all sick but 13 was really different from everything. it kicked ass. i never got degenerates, would like to see that.

 
YEAh man 13 kicks ass i just brought it back to college to watch it, the video was what got me into skiing, it sucks that now when skiing is just so sickkk and parks and rails are everywhere i am getting older and i dont learn as fast as these younger guys, well 13 rules, remember when that dude did a flair to frontflip, jp auclairs section was the best man ever!!!

 
i never saw 13 but i was sorta doing it back then, it was kinda cool, i was doing mute grabs but i didnt know what they were called, so we just called em cross grabs. Then i found the line site and i got some names and new ideas.

But does anyone remember when JP, Vinnie, and few others all skied for BFA? There were no twin-tips back then. Hart F-17's and Salomon Superforce's were the big freestyle skis.

Y'all are a bunch of new jacks reminescing about a movie that only came out a couple of years ago..fucking pathetic bunch you are. I was 'newschooling' when P-tex, lies and Duct Tape came out. License to Thrill, Maltese Flamingo, and all sorts of other movies you little zit poppin' punks have never even heard of. And to let you know, twin-tips and switch landings are not something new...they were doing it in the 70's on Olin Mark twin-tips. Not to mention throwing inverts and 720's while standing still with a pair of long ski poles.....what you know about that? You're all new to the game.

Actually OG i do remebember the movies you speak of and as for the movement back in the 70s my dad was part of it and he still has his Olins but am i runnin around like a hard ass hell no because i wasnt born and the movement is much stronger now and this thread is about the movie 13(phat movie by the way love the shirts) not what a dickhead u r so shut the fuck up and find a new thread we dont give a fuck about you!

Skiing's Last Stand was probably the best name for a ski movie yet. Too bad it was more of a new beginning than a last stand.

Hell yeah 13... that movie was what got me started - its still hella fun to watch it now and see how much things have changed since then - there were like 3 rails in that movie... and not many grabs and people spinning 10s all squirrely and shit... ahhh...

the best idea ever was the one that was diabolicly hatched today at lunch in the hall way of my school.
