Anyone know Okemo's official closing date?

yeah Wallride or Die. Such a sick slogan. You should tell them to plaster that all over their billboards. People will flock from all over to witness YOU shredding the Wallride while you scream Wallride or Die WALLRIDE OR DYE WALLRIDE OR DIE WALLRIDE OR DIE WALLRIDE OR DIE WALLRIDE OR DIE.

i talked to a snowmaker dude. he said that theyll be closing soon after this weekend. im feeling emo right now, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

We are still looking at an April 16th closing. It all depends on coverage at this point. Snowriders Gone Wild rail jam this Sunday, 4/9. $1000 purse, rails on Bull Run, a lot like the rail jam in November. I will get more details when I get back to work on Thursday.

im at okemo sun for sure maybe sat too. def all us okemo skiers should head up the weekend after it closes hike up and hit some stuff, ya know like have our own rail session bring up shuvels to fix the jump on and all could be reall sick a NS okemo skier jam

not true! i had an email yesterday saying we're supposed to stay open until easter sunday (the 16th). its supposed to rain this weekend though... in any case the park is still pretty good for right now. no word yet about what the rail jan setup will be, i'll ask around.

dude, if you knew anything about okemo you would know tristan is the guy who does the okemo snow report. cant say i think ur gonna win ur argument. im goin up sat and sun if the setup is good ill enter but if its some U box to down box shit theres no way im payin 10-20 bucks

ok, i lied. oops. i just got in this morning and found out we're closing the 9th, and i'm pissed. anyway, the rail jam should still be good, and no, it won't be on the u-box again. i'll put pics up of the setup if i have time later on.

K sweet you should just make it a set up people can go crazy and trick out on. like the flat down box but with like a mellow jump on like 1-2 ft gap. then a flat box some kink rails flat rails just funs stuff no crazy weird setups that no one can throw down on and progress on, thats not the way to end a season

the park rangers tell me it's gonna be:

wide butter box (16 ft wide by 4 ft long)

40 ft. flat down flat box to 40 ft up rail to 40 ft. flat down flat rail

wallride to truth rail to urban s-rail

not really, but that'd be funny though...

as far as i know there'll be three options:

1)see-saw to mini flat box (for the little kids)

2)minivan with flat down rail on top

3)20 ft flat box to 20 ft down rail

it's going in sat. night, so no pics or anything before then.

Also, Saturday is the Slush Cup and I am offering a pair of Scott Motives and Level Gloves to the Newschooler who can get at least 3/4 of the way across the pond SWITCH!
