ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WAKEBOARD BOATS?

is centurion a legit company? trying to find something to ride behind...i know the major companies but i was wondering if i could get some input ont what you have or have heard about them. thanks

eh, after riding behind a tige they look kinda....2nd class i guess? i dont mean to sound conceited, the tige isnt mine, and ive never ridden a cent, but ive seen them out on the lake, but shit if ur gettin any boat at all id be happy as shit.

centurion makes legit ass boats for the price. HUGE wakes. if you could afford maybe a more expensive boat, i like riding behind supras, air nautiques, and mastercrafts. The mastercraft x2 is a badass boat. whatever you do dont get a sea doo wake boat...jet boats are lame.

I've never ridden behind one, but ive heard that centurions are legit. I read a review in wakeboarder mag like a year ago and the centurions got good reviews and apparently they are a great deal. I'd see if you can find a buyer's guide issue of Wakeboarder. That should help you out a lot.

i wouldnt judge em until you ride behind em. i thought similar to you until i rode in one and rode behind one. if you fill the ballast it gets hugeee wake, and the one i was riding in we had a barrel of sand in too. it was amazing to surf behind. It's got perfect tow and all that too with heaters and a pretty good sound system. i woujld deff be stoked to own one, but boats are too expensive.

They do. There are also many other companies that make great boats. But for the money they are pretty tops. Where do you live/where are you going to be riding? Are you going to be exclusively wakeboarding or will you be doing some wakesurfing? If you will be doing some surfing then you cant get much better than a Centurion Enzo. As for wakeboarding wakes... Mastercraft is always a good bet although over-priced. You are definitely paying something for the name with those. It also depends on how many people you want to be bringing with you. I can tell you pretty much anything you need to know because I just got through researching for my family. PM me if you want to hear more and you can give me some more info.

i hear they are nice but my buddy has an air nautique and thats the only legit boat ive been behind, oh wait i went to this camp they had a wakesetter that was nce to both had a big wake

I haven't ever rode behind a centurion, but I've rode behind an X2, super air210, air 211, air 220 crossover, malibu Vride, wakesetter, and a moomba supra gravity games edition, and I'd say if you can try ride behind it before you buy it or whatever since all the shapes of the wakes themselves are so different, even the wakes of different models of the same company.

centurions are decent yet there are so many other boats that you can get that are better...are you justl loooking for a wake boat that is relatively cheap or what? im just wonding why u chose centurion...if cost was the issue look at some moombas...if not mastercrafts are the best boats out there...x1 is relatively cheap

mastercrafts and malibus are my favorites to ride behind. both have super smooth and poppy wakes in my opinion

the enzos are the shiaat. soo nice for surfing, and sideswipe exhaust is nice. i would say they are totally legit and a nice change from the the big M's like malibu and mastercraft

yeah dude i have a moomba and its super sick for wakeboarding. Doesn't put out as big of a wake as the malibu's but its close and for like 50,000 less its worth it.

malibu wakestter vlx, its what my friend has its so much fun to ride behind, wake is gigantic plus he has a fat sack so now its redicuous.

Stick with the best...

Mastercraft

Natique

Malibu (meh, maybe)

We use the Natique Air and its fucking sick. tons or Hp and torque, huge wake, 1000 gallon hull tanks, and nice little heaters to dry you off. You gotta get the tower, 15" sub, cd changer, and satellite radio also. Its a pretty sick set-up. There is also the option of slalom skiing mode which makes the wake basically nothing.

Don't listen to this guy he doesn't know what he's talking about. A 1000 gallon ballast tank would weigh over 8,000 lbs which makes total sense in a 4,000 lbs boat.

If you can't afford one of the big 4 (Malibu, Mastercraft, CC, Supra) look at the centourian s and moomba's. Don't rule out a used malibu or mastercraft they can be had for bout the same price as a centrourian or moomba and will usually be fully optioned out.

Don't listen to him, he has no idea what he is talking about.  Those companies make great boats that are quality but you are going to be paying an extra 30 grand probably just for the name.  There are multiple other companies that make great boats. Centurions are good. Moobas are good. If you live in California then Calabria makes good boats and Sanger makes probably the highest quality boats you can find for any price. They aren't as flashy but as for the build quality they are par none.

you do know that supra and moomba are the same thing right? and I think he meant a 1000 lb ballast tank not 1000 gallons. All of the wakeboard boats mentioned are good. Also look at MB, they are so sick. There was one for sale up in VT that was a couple years old and it was the best looking wakeboard boat I have ever seen. Mastercrafts are nice but the price is a little steep. MY sister and friend say that moombas have the best wake but Ive never wakeboarded before so I can't help you there. But to answer your question Centurion is a legit company.
