Alright I really dont know anything about tvs but when I play Xbox on my tv which is a old tube tv, Im really good, but whenever i go and play on an HD tv I SUCK. I am absolutely terrible so Im just wondering what the difference is? is there a setting on the xbox that can make it more like a old tube tv on a HD tv?

Idk, maybe the hd tv has a crap refresh rate, but honestly there can't be much of a difference between the two, one just looks better

i would mess around with the setting on your tv. or maybe you have a bent input chord. otherwise just kick your tv.

ive had this problem. Two summers ago when i came home from school i used my old 33" tube tv for black ops and just absolutely dominated everything. I was like a 3.5 kd and 375 spm. Got back on my 50" plasma at school and fell back to 2.5 kd and 240 spm. But i also smoked a lot of weed that summer so it could have just been that

video processing creates short lag. Many games have adjustments you can make to correct this. Also many HDTVs have a GAME mode which cut out all unnecessary processing, creating the least amount of lag they can.

Exactly, I feel like there is a noticable difference from when i move the stick on the controler and when the guy moves. I dont have a HD tv and I dont really want to buy one for this reason but if there's a way to fix it I might. I'll have to give it a try

My samsung tv has an unfixable lag. Most tvs will have a game mode you can switch to though.

I have an 1.81 kd ratio on my box tv though /claim

probably HD lag. i noticed this on my brothers tv a while back. Not exactly sure what you can do to fix it but it is an issue with a lot of hdtvs.
