i need a good poem for school

has to be fifteen lines

and it cant be that one guy that wrote where the sidewalk ends

IDEAS!

i decided on this one

If Timmy was an astronaut he would fly to the moon

If Timmy was a butterfly he would be born in a cocoon

If Timmy played the banjo he would play like a buffoon

When Timmy says “see you later” he will see you very soon

If Timmy was filled with helium they would call him a balloon

If Timmy spun in circles they would call him a typhoon

If Timmy held his breath for a while his face would turn

maroon

When Timmy eats cereal he eats it with a spoon

If Timmy acted like a monkey they would call him “a

baboon”

When Timmy was a cowboy, he would drink in a saloon

When Timmy says its twelve o’ clock, he means that it is

noon

If Timmy was in a book, they would call him a cartoon

If Timmy made a song, they would call it a jazzy tune

If Timmy was a girl, he would make the girls swoon

If Timmy got hit by a bus, he would die.

-Hawke Trackler

that was the other one i was considering suggesting
and yes, he slays, just trying to put it in terms that your common NSer would immediately understand

sonnet 116 is a sickkk poem. it's not even that hard to memorize.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love

Which alters when it alteration finds,

Or bends with the remover to remove:

O no! it is an ever-fixed mark

That looks on tempests and is never shaken;

It is the star to every wandering bark,

Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.

Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks

Within his bending sickle's compass come:

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,

But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

If this be error and upon me proved,

I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

exactly 15 lines??
Out, Out by Robert Frost is a good one, but it's more than 15 lines. Pretty depressing, but youre teacher will like that you picked it.
