Anyone in Philly, PA area?

I'm looking to take my park skiing a bit more seriously this year and since all my friends are pussies and afraid of freestyle skiing I am coming here to find some people to learn from. Last year was terrible for the East Coast but especially the Tri-State area. Looks to be a little better this year.

I'm 25 and last year was my first year skiing in the park. Looking to make a lot of progress this year.
 
well youre an ass. if youre not from philly, or willing to help someone out, or calling someone an ass, why post in this thread?
 
I might not be the best help but I have been in Philly my whole life untill recently. If you need places to ski or people to talk to I might be of a little help. Let me know if theres anything I can do.
 
Yo dude Im currently living in Philadelphia, going to Temple. There are a couple mountains not too far from the city. Like Blue i believe and Big Boulder. Never been to Blue though
 
Hey man,

I've been to Blue Mountain. It has the highest vertical in PA and has 3 terrain parks, a beginner, intermediate and advanced. Last year the snow was so bad that they couldn't open the big park until the end of the season. Blue is like 90 minutes from Philly.

There is also Bear Creek Mountain which is only about 75 minutes from Philly. It is a pretty small mountain but they have two nice terrain parks. I went there mostly last year as I tried to focus mostly on park.

I'll probably be spending most of my time at those two mountains this year. Blue Mountain also has a Big Air Bag that I will be utilizing a lot this year as I fucked my back up pretty good last year just hucking myself off jumps trying to learn tricks the hard way.

The three closest are probably Blue Mt, Bear Creek and Camelback. If you've got some friends you could put me in touch with though that would be cool.
 
Most of my friends I ski with are up in NY state where I am now. I have had a season pass to Bear Creak and its suprizingly not terrible. They always have a shit load of rails there, the jumps can get pretty janky sometimes. When it comes to meeting people to ski with I would just talk to people once your there. There are a lot of local people skiing there that I'm sure could use a person to ride with as well.
