I will be over there from friday to sunday to film for commercial work.I need someone to show me around, possibly walk around, bike around with some stuff with me.

I have a shot list to follow.

I would feel more secure with my camera stuff if I was with someone.

Can compensate with food+good company

Let me know .

 
This is new schoolers. You'll get mostly trolls and then one gem of a guy that'll guide you. But he is still gonna be expecting at least a blowjob.
 
Be careful, cops like to unconstitutionally but legally frisk individuals in the city (minorities though so you should be fine, I'm assuming.)
 
I was searching the ny times about it the other day thinking about the subject and saw they were in court currently about the matter. However, it's hard to understand all the different articles and exactly what the real deal is. Maybe they are repealing a repeal? Could you explain briefly layman style if you know? Not politic hogwash

Anyway, NY is safe and there are hundreds of others doing the same thing as you, taking pictures.. You'll blend in just fine and won't be stressing. What kind of shots are you getting?

like @Joebin said, it's the first comment that makes the thread. yea people would've trolled, but if there was a serious response to begin with then this thread wouldn't be hopeless.
 
They only do that to guys and only to minorities, And they did it to me once and put me in jail for three days because I fell asleep on the subway and didn't have ID on me. And apparently it took 70 hours for my paperwork to go through to see a judge who then stated because I have no criminal record I could leave so I left. Cool story right?
 
NYC brah here..

I go into the city all the time I live just outside of it. Unless you go full retard its pretty hard to get mugged or smething. Just stay out of the bad areas, which are pretty slim if you stay in manhattan where most tourists go. Just don't leave your stuff unattended at all bring it with you if you go order food, etc.

Now your bike on the other hand....That has a pretty good chance of being stolen if its a real nice bike
