I played at the number 1 spot on my prep school squash team (lost to the exeter number 1 at new englands last year efcs) and am playing now on my college team at St Lawrence Univeristy. Its a sick sport. Keeps you in really good shape. Only drawback is that it's a winter sport.

Oh ya...you were asking bout rackets...I use Dunlop Pros...but the model has been discontinued for a new model. I don't like the newer model as much, but I have 3 of the old models, so Im sticking with those. But check out dunlop rackets or head rackets. Both companies make sick stuff.

ya im in a ladder at school

i sit about the middle of the pack, with all the asians dudes on top.

for racquets i have a wilson protorch.

nothing fancy, but a excellent racquet for the money.

and what ever you do, always wear goggles, i know first hand what a ball in the eye feels like.

one time playing racquetball i ran and nailed it off the back wall when i was 5 feet from the wall and it hit me right in the forehead, that was scary cause it was like an inch from my eye and if it hit me i couldve gone blind

I've played a couple of times.........has anyone ever had their balls squashed...owwwwwwww....that would suck ,...1000 lbs coming down on your balls.

yea, im looking at the dunlop muscle weave c-max titanium...though the CX Pro Carbon 110 and Slazenger Pro Carbon 110 are looking pretty good (soooo light)

dont get a racquet thats too light.

i personaly like something around 160-170

if its too like it feels like your holding nothing and i find its harder to flick your wrist.

and for the guy asking about getting hit in the eyes.

squash balls are designed to suck on impact. thats why they come flying off the wall so fast. therefore if it hits you in the eye hard enough, it can take your eye out of the socket or blind you very very easily.

i was hit just above the eye lastyear, in and around the eyebrow area. it didnt even hit my eye dead on and the pain was unfahkenbelieveable. needless to say i dropped like a sack o bricks.

so when your running down court, make sure your partners not hitting it cross court cause that shit didnt even hit the wall before it hit me.

taken it in the bum tingles a little too

Ya...don't get anything too light. I play with a 140 which is perfect I feel...but I also have a raquet which is 110...its too light - no feel with it.

But the same weight can feel very different depending on where the weight is - the raquet can be head heavy, or head light, or even.

i use a black knight. don't remember the model though. pretty good light weight racquett!

My mom: 'would you jump a cliff if someone told you to?'

Me: 'i guess not. i'd have jumped off before they told me to!'

i've been playing with a wilson 150 and have found it too heavy, thats why i was looking at the super-light racquets
