Anyone here know the shop guy at ski company?

I just took my jj's to snow and they were fucking retarded about mounting them and they wanted too charge 81$ to mount them and they weren't even sure if they could do it. I'm wondering if if would be smarter too take them too ski company where they could bend the brakes out a little bit and mount them right.. help
 
it seems everyone is dumb last year i just had my regular park skis mounted and snow didnt know what dead center meant so they mounted them regular raceing what ever that is i was pissed they mounted them again at the core which i also didn't want. i hate everyone.
 
last year snow mounted mine back 2cm when i told them center... and then they tried to tell me that 2cm back was center
 
There's two different centers on a ski. So you most likely didn't specify (Nate). Also, if you guys don't want your shit messed up, measure it out yourself and mark where you want them, that's what you're supposed to do. And Zack, go to Bristol, they'll mount those shits up for like $30.
 
I'd say go to bristol, they have a pretty good reputation. But thats surprising that Snow tried to charge you that much, were they charging you for wide brakes too? And I have a feeling the same thing will happen at ski company, snow owns ski company. Snow and Ski Company are the exact same thing. Seth, the main shop tech, works at both Snow and Ski Company. I'd go to bristol if I were you.
 
yea i know i asked for true center not balance center and they tried to tell me that they were mounted true center
 
Keep an eye out when they set your DIN too.

I got my skis back, didn't pay attention to the DIN much, had the bacons on in my room and went to tip stand... You can guess what happaned. They had them set at 6, bounced them up a few notches.
 
No offense man but I don't think your din should be any higher than 8 (which i guess it would be if you bumped it up two notches) But even a 7 on those bacons is fine for you dude.
 
the thing is bristol wont make one. ull go there an hell fool around with it for like 10 mins than tell you that he cant because he dosent have a big enough jig for it.
 
Haha Zack the other day at work I saw your skis in the back shop. I wanted to fuck around with them so badly. But yeah, I flexed them, caressed them and fondled them for about 20 minutes. There orgasmic dude. And I'm pretty sure Timmy said it is 75$ (he even said it was ridiculous) to get bindings mounted if you didn't buy skis/bindings at the store. Except when I asked chad in the back he said he has no clue why its so expensive.

And dude 12.5 din, your a tank.
 
yeah I was fuckin pissed the guy at the dome said yeah 20-30 becuase they would have too make a jig probably, I effing told him that I bought the skis off bc.com and he was like yeah as long as you bring the recipt. so yeah 81$ I was like fuck that I wish I woulda known that otherwise I woulda just bough some jesters or px18s at ski company and had them mount em. But yeah ski company said they would do 60$ so if bristol cant do it Ima take em there.

and about the din hah well I'm not exactly skinny.
 
Haha yeah I asked the dude who mounts and im like "Bro what the hell is this, 85$ to mount those armada's?" And he just looked at them for awhile and was like i have no clue why its that much. Then I proceeded to have sex with your skis basically. But yeah Timmy said they charge 75$ for skis and bindings that weren't purcharsed there (which is ridiculous). Too bad he's only charging me 25$ to get my secret skis mounted up :) /claim.

But yeah i'll see if i can mention something tmmrw but theres not much i can do, im just a rookie doing bitch work
