Anyone have reverse camber skiis yet?

I know there are plenty of threads on this but has anyone ridden a pair yet? particularly the EP Pros. or the hellbents? and do you guys think its worth it if Im skiing in Tahoe?
 
especially since you live in tahoe, get some moment melees

i have ridden them yet, but they seem dope as hell.

Why is everybody making some a big deal about Reverse camber skis this year? They've been around for a while.
 
Because now TANNER HALL and ERIC POLLARD and all the other super awesome pro skiers are doing it.

O yeah I forgot about moment's, they have some really cool skiis and theyll probably get better with Bibby designing his own pro model.
 
not necessarily. rocker is early rise at tip and tail where camber is the whole camber of the ski is reversed i believe. someone set a definition.
 
They have just started being rad skis. The spatula was sick, but I never wouldve bought them (they are reverse sidecut too though). But the Hellbents look sick, and I think that they would be pretty sick all over. They have been a super big deal this year, so obviously a lot of people had wanted them.

Reverse camber and a rocker are two totally different things. Reverse camber is a ski that literally has reverse camber throughout the whole length of the ski..therefore when laying flat, the middle of the ski will be the lowest and tip/tail will be the highest..

A ski with a rocker(s) is flat underfoot, while the tip and/or the tail rise at a designated point - rockered skis are far more practical on harder snow due to the conventional shape underfoot
 
Since you're in Tahoe, why not try out some Moments, since they're local? They're doing a lotta demos at Tahoe

See if you can hop on some Melees
 
how will they get better if bibby is designing a model for them? their graphics are already sick and so far i havn't seen/heard any complaints from people riding them. some1 adding a diff graphic to a ski isnt gonna make it any "better"
 
yeah I meant pro model, and I was saying bibby will make them better because he was riding on K2 before so he can use his knowledge from skiing on Hellbents to make Moments rockered or reverse cambered skis what ever you want to call them, just as sick if not sicker.
 
Your 'reverse camber' is a ski with 'continuous rocker'

What you call just 'rocker' is a ski with a '3 stage rocker'

But if you want to call it reverse camber then ok.

Why would his pro model just be the same ski with a different graphic? Then it's not really a pro model is it?
 
one time i broke my ski at three spots on the front and it was kinda like it was rockered and it really sucked....... but maybe that was just because i could bend my tip back so that it could touch my shin
 
Obviously any Nerd On newschoolers who care what the pros are doing more than they care on what their personaly doing probably own a pair of hellbents. I saw a kid with Hellbents that couldnt slide a flat box.... Why dont people use skis that will help improve thier skills and not just buy a random pair of skis cuz so and so rides them.
 
They are pretty soft, but once you find your balance, they are really stable at high speed. But leaning back or forward can cause some crazy butters.
 
I just moved to Utah and everyone and thier sister has rockerd/ reverse camber or more specifically hellbents...........w/ no poles........which is cool wit me.
 
This guy knows his shit, probably from wakeboard/wakeskate technology.

I think wakeboard companies should expiriment with reverse camber, which for them would be our typical camber. I bet the boards would float really well.

But for cereal, rocker is the shit
 
I heard Pep skiis his hellbents everywhere, even the park, I guess if I could get a pair whenever i wanted I would but I dont see why I would use skis that fat and maybe possibly get them fucked up in the park. But after seeing Idea I treally want a pair once i get the money.
 
WHy does it matter what you call them? rockered, reverse camber, double skate bananas, amazing... does it matter? everyone knows what youre talking about.
 
Its Called Rocker Morons! Reverse Camber does not exist. Leave it to people who ski powder, as soon as you get in the park you'll crash going up the jump because of tip and tail flap, ahahaha!
 
thats too bad about utah. accuweather is predicitng 12-18 for the my area tomarrow night into monday.
 
My ar6s have gradually become rockered.. SOO fun to butter on but im sure theyre nothing compared to hellbents or something
