Anyone have an AdSense account? Youtube advice

hello all,

So I made a joint rolling tutorial video and put it on youtube a couple years ago. As of right now, it has had 123,863 views and has very good ratings and comments. When I look at the video statistics, the viewing rate seems to be steadily increasing. I have heard of people making good amounts of money by allowing Google to put those text ads at the bottom of their videos, through the AdSense system. Have any NSers done this and had success? Also I'm not sure how you actually get paid, and if it matters that there are illegal substances in the video.

From what I've heard it works quite well. You put an ad on the video then get money based off how many clicks it receives and so on. Youtube should have sent you a message asking you to sign up for one.
 
Google will not put any ads on videos with illegal substances.
