Who has a band here? I used to be in a band called the Cosmic Burritos, but thats dead so now me and two of my friends have a band called The Palindromes. Bands are fun, yes they are.

I was the drummer for a jazz/rock/bluegrass band called Blueheart. Before that I was in the Afronauts and Mojo Filter... ahhh the glory of high school rock bands.

does it count if the whole band is in my head? if not... then no.

I am too slow to be in a band. I tend to spent weeks writing songs. and forget every other song that I know... except one. there's always one song.. it's usually 'Wish you were here'. yeah. So while I'm on this tangent ... anybody want icecream?

for my old band i wrote 1 song that we ended up playing for my new band me and my friend write a lot of stuff, i'm actually working on something right now tricky line this is..something like

I had a punk band! in high school, that was fun! Now I just play with myself, in the mornings, and at night.

there... since i wear my pants low, they are always below the piss hole on my boxers... and since my boxers are really cheap and from costco the button always opens. all that reedy saw was my limp dick, and he just wanted to see a raging hard boner so bad that that's what he saw in his mind. word.

im trying to get a band together with my friends, i play witht them a lot but we never take it seriously enough to try and get some songs together

im in a classic rock band. we play hendrix, doors, allman brothers...and stuff. we just started to write our own songs. i play bass. i kinda dont like it, i dont like the songs we play.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.
 
right now teddy its just me and whit, i might do dan's band though i think that should be ska, but there is no way we are using any of my songs no!

We never technically 'wrote' any songs, but we were a jam band and compiled a lot of original tunes... I'd say as Blueheart progressed at our gigs we were playing half original, half cover. We covered stuff like Van Morrison, bluegrass/folksy songs from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou and from Chocolat... let's see, we did a lot of jazz classics, stuff like Autumn Leaves, Black Orpheus, Blue Monk, Satin Doll, All Blues... Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck. A lot of stuff. And then we'd turn right around and play Godsmack.

i play bass for a band called '4ft 12.' we suck, plus im the only guy. 2 guitarists me and a drummer. we blow so we do crap ass covers, but im writing shit and waiting till im finally in a cool band to let em out.

Bands are the best. Music is just good for you, super fun to play.

I used to have about two gigs a week with Blueheart, I was rolling in the dough. Then I moved and I haven't played with anyone since.

Wow... I always wanted to get paid for gigs.

I played tonnes of them, but always got hosed for money. Damn bar owners...

I'm over it.

 
I'm a part of the Marble Engine. We have 2 different demo CDs and we play about 70% original music, and some covers, everything from Filter, to the Beatles, to Pink Floyd, to the Smashing Pumkins.

What is the colour of a mirror?
 
i tried to join my friends band, but they said when i sang it sounded like his cat was dying. so that fell through obvisouly

i was in a band back in high skool.. we were called millhouse. ohh yes, glory days. we wrote many songs, one of which was called 'scott jones, get outta my garbage can'.
