Anyone go to Bard at Simons Rock College?

a good amount of ns'ers in the area, including me and my friends.(we're all high schoolers)

theres a few chill kids i know that go there but i would never do it.

I mean theres obviously good kids that go there but a majority of them are wack hipster kind of kids ahha.

and if you're into partying its not really the school for you(at least not that i know of). Most likely you will end up going to high school or townie parties that end up getting busted.

there is butternut ski area which is like 5 minutes away with a great park. probably one of the best not in vermont

hey man i appreciate the input. Im a highschooler as well, I would just be going early. Although I've never been to one, my two friends that go there claim there are a lot of literally unsupervised but on campus parties just with bard kids and that you can smoke and they wont give a shit. (Not that im going to college to smoke and party, but I plan on making that a part of it :P)
anyways, I didnt know butternut was near it but that definetely helps my decision so thanks a ton bud

well no matter what age you are when you start at Bard you start as a freshman but im 16 and a junior and would be basically skipping senior year.

ya.

my friend did 9,10 here at the local high school and then 2 years there and now is goin on to boston university.

so if your doin that kinda plan, go for it. its a great opportunity, and theirs a lot of chill kids around here.

You would practically be my neighbor. Great Barrington is a pretty boring place. Except in the winter. Butternut is sick, jiminey is alright, mount snow is only an hour away, and the campus has some sick kinks that me and J Evs scouted out once but we didnt hit it because its right next to the security building. maybe as a student people would be less suspicious. I have seen a few parties at simons rock and some of them seem pretty big but like J Evs said you would probably end up with townies(sketchy) or highschoolers but i guess since your my age anyway it wouldnt really be a problem for you. I also know a few kids who are doing the early entry thing and I believe most of them have enjoyed it. It just depends on whether its something your interested in.
