Anyone go surfing in NJ today?

yeah, around mid day was the biggest but it was real crazy storm surf so I just rode my bike up and down the boardwalk watching people getting insane rides. then it finally calmed down in the evening but it was really crowded so I ended up going out for dinner instead.
 
it's true.. I should have gone in. yesterday was a fun surprise too. It started to build and it got pretty powerful, my leash broke after a wipeout but I managed to tie it on and it worked fine for the rest of the day.
 
anyone get out this past weekend? i'm headin out today, the forecast looks good so hopefully i can get some good ones.
 
there were some okay looking ones today, I didn't get out though. maybe tomorrow, we'll see. it was cleaner than I thought for the wind today too. it's supposed to be a lot better in southern NJ. dukestorm.com is the place to go for reports on the surf in nj.
 
ahhhh. i went to margate yesterday. it started out ok, but then the wind switched and it turned into a giant washing machine. i was supposed to head down to cape may today, but my friend was laying in bed feeling like shit, so i didnt feel like driving 2.5 hours by myself on the chance that the surf might not even be good. hopefully i can get out friday, its looking like north jersey is gonna be the best later in the week.
 
still sounds like a fun session. im itching to get out, I was away for a week and I haven't been in the ocean since before I left. I'm in central now so hopefully it will be fun thursday and friday here too. the waves have been real choppy and washed up due to the winds and rain. the forecast calls for tomorrow to be another shitty day, clearing up a bit by night fall. if the winds die down it could clean up and be a lot of fun. only time will tell though.
