Just wondering if people have bought new skis for the season. if so what? i ordered some Magnuses from ON3P in 181.

Copped myself a pair of 194 Fat-ypus Dsenders and got the girlfriend a pair of 162 Moment Sierras. Only had the rock skis out so far this year, ready for some more coverage!

I got 3 pairs of free skis, 177 Elan puzzle, 184 arv96, and another pair that I cant tell because there's a shit load of plasti dip on the topsheets.

I hope to get a touring setup or use the cast system this year since the mountain I'm at now actually has powder and has touring

ARV 96. First new pair I've had. Always skied hand-me-downs from a friend growing up and craigslist specials as an adult. I bought a new snowboard once c. 2000. I'm stoked to get them mounted and hit the mountains.

Coped some 176 magnus's, super stoked to be riding ON3P again.

Same except for a 186. Had a few pairs of Filthy Riches before I went to a Volkl Wall, AR7, and Chronics. Stoked to be back on something a little more playful.

Took me about 2 weeks for them to send me the first ski, then the second ski arrived after another week. Enjoy mate!

I just moved back east from Colorado after 6 seasons. I just bought nordica soul riders 87. Thinking I should have gotten 97s instead. 87 will be fine on east coast tho. Stoked on these. I ride pow on volkl ones. Best ski I've ever had. I do want to buy a Bentchetler tho. No ing back west hopefully next fall. To salt lake city chyeaaa

Amplid syntax 178! They have been staring me out through their shrink-wrap for like 3 months now.

Got 2 new pair for this winter. The new Arv116 and a pair of the edollo for my park ski. Definitely have the complete setup now with my arv 106 from last season!

The 185 Armada El Rey are "new to me" skis and the 181cm Blue/Black Head Collective 105 I just got a few weeks ago. The other 3 pairs and Hawk Ultra 130 boots were new in the Spring but got a few days skiing on them. Excited to try them all out!

That 106 looks dope Af! I'd love a pair of mid fats

It’s the dopest ski I’ve ever ridden!! It can handle everything from deeep pow to park laps! You’ll never be disappointed in that ski.

Anyone want to buy 2016 Volkl Walls 177cm center mounted with sth13s 301MM BSL. 300$ or trade for a Midfat ski?

Lol this thread has just become awkward because you know who is the op..... Well anyway I like my ARVs and have taken them on everything except 12"+ of pow. They ski great once you get the feel for them

Just got some new Kendo’s. Little worried about taking them to Jay in pow

Why? Not wide enough? I feel like you should be fine short of an epic day. They'll be harder to maneuver and control versus wider skis in deep stuff but aren't they tip and tail rocker and 90 underfoot? If I skied line afterbangs last year in a foot of fresh, you'll be fine haha

Yea i should be good right?

I would think so. Most people would consider 90mm a good all around width for the East Coast. The blister review for this ski doesn't have much positivity for deeper snow. I know Jay can have some seriously deep days so you will notice the difference in 6"+ of snow compared to a wider more powder oriented ski.... Although it wasn't too long ago people were skiing powder in 70mm waist skis. It can be done. Just more effort is required to control the skis. As I said before, I used to take my full camber, basically shit for anything but park, Line afterbang skis all over the mountain. I started noticing issues at depths greater than 6", and at 12" they were quite difficult but still skiable and fun.

Just relax. Have fun. You'll be fine. If they get a freak dump and you see yourself skiing waist deep stuff, then get some wider demo rentals from the shop.

Thanks bud! I will
