Anyone get Shaun Whites snowboarding

oh all the ads i saw for it said 11.16.08

what are the controls like is it like tony hawks and button mashing and all that crap
 
i want more reviews from ns, im thinkin about getting it, is it fake like ssx or real like amped.
 
real like amped? like taking your feet out of your bindings while on a rail and waving your board around your head then landing? im really not trying to be an asshole man but amped is soo far from real... SKATE is a good example of a realistic zxtreme sports game

so is it more like skate or ssx/amped?
 
kinda a mix of both. Its unrealistic in the way that yu can do massive airs straight on to rails, but real in the way that its pretty hard to do large spins or anything over a double backflip.
Personally Im not to fond of it, i think its pretty jurky and there is no real flow to it at all. Plus the career part of it has no real purpose it seems, you just randomly find contests that have no story behind them. On a plus side though the outwear in it is pretty cool and varied and if your just cruising it can be fun.
I would rent it first if i was you.
 
ya srry if i sounded like a dick cause i wasnt trying to. but what i meant is it like u get in the air grab first and while in the middle of the air spin a 1440 like in ssx, in skate or amped 2 u cant do that shit
 
skate is the best game ever createdsoo stoked for skate 2
but shawn white doesnt look very legit to mei get more of a tony hawk vibe from the commercials but i havent played it
STOKED on the other hand looks pretty similar to skate, and ive dreamt of a snowboard game like skate since i got it

i herd it is soposed to be like skate so it is gonna be sick especially since skate was the best game ever created, hands down
 
yeah it has the same physics engine as skate, so its not super loopy and airy like tony hawk, and you use the thumb sticks too, should be dope
