vail is at least 2 1/2 because it's the farthest away. from fort collins you can make it to winter park in 2 hours flat, copper breck and keystone are all about 15 minutes or so more, and beav/vail are another 15 or so. but sometimes it takes longer due to weather or traffic. you get used to it though. i lived in hunter creek in aspen for 10 years which was about a 2 minute bus ride to aspen mountain, so if someone as spoiled as me can get used to it then anyone can

^it's possible.....if you completely miss rush hour and drive 100 the whole way. now if you said you made it FROM vail to the fort in two hours you'd be bullshitting.

thats when my dad drives and he goes really damn fast all the time we have made it to steamboat in like 2hours and 20-30 minuits, and it usually takes more than 3 hours without any traffic, he was crusing at 120-130 for like 5 minuites and its funny cause he like doesnt even notice hes speeding like crazy.

 
^yea same... there isnt much to do... but decent bud... Oh and ROCKY kicked Pouder's ASS tonight... im pretty damn pumped about that!!!
 
im livin in foco and its not bad drive but a drive most of the day as a job so i dont notice time as much vail in 2 hrs is impossible and your bull shittin about steamboat that quick the roads dont allow you to drive that fast in a lot of places ... and no not speed limit just not possible physically.

FoCo is an aight town... hotter chicks than you will find anywhere in summit or any mountain town! Bars are fun and drinks are cheap and the mildest weather on the front range! not bad town most of the cops are dicks and dui happy like no other but thats most places.
 
the roads on the way up are straight as hell, as long as its not snowing like crazy you can cruise at like 110 for ever and you can always spot cops really far ahead, and there is a dirt road that i heard can take off 20 minuites but its really more like 10.
