Anyone ever ski on hail?

So I was driving through Santa Rosa, nm this morning and i saw about 2ft of hail on the ground. That made me wonder if there's any edits of skiing on summer hail.

Holy fuuuuuuuuck! I had some SERIOUS doubts on that number. Aha props for delivering. But god damn. That's nuts. Totally skiable man. Get some melt on that and I think it would feel awesome.

fuck yea dude! Last summer it hailed at my house and i gathered some up and put it on my summer setup and it was like snow!

This, news companies need to realise that just because I can pile up the snow 10 feet at the side of the road when the plow goes past, it's still actually a foot of snow.

That looks to be a few inches from the pics, although I'm not sure when it melted.

Cool idea skiing on hail though, amazed the weather stayed consistent long enough.

I'm sure it settled a ton and melted as it fell so it's not like 2 feet means that it was 2 feet high. It's kind of like how rain is measured.

Being from the east coast I've skiied on a few inches of hail a few times, its just faster, other then that it's not really noticeable

are you confusing hail with sleet or freezing rain? Disregard if my assumption is wrong; however, how did you get that opportunity so many times when there usually is not a base of snow when the hail storms are more common...
