Anyone ever get ripped off on NS?

pretty much what the title asks.....i sent a guy some money (on paypal) almost two weeks ago and havent heard back from him about the boots i bought. Just looks like he hardly signs on to NS. So does paypal refund your money if the deal falls through or what? How long should i give it?
 
Open up a paypal dispute...... 2 weeks has been long enough.

DONT WAIT MORE THAN A MONTH or you are SOL
 
i never got fucked like that but i did buy something off a guy and it had stains on the back even though he said it was in perfect condition.. what ever a bunch of washes and some good stain remover and i got most of it off
 
same thing happened to me i bought some pants off someone, its been 20 days and the pants never came yet and hes not rely responding to my messages, i dont wanna ruin his rep if the shipping people messed up but i did im not sure what i should do, i did use paypal
 
definitely file a dispute if he hasn't responded, don't worry about fucking up the rep of people who are trying to scam you.
 
im sorry, but when it comes to paypal, if the seller doesnt respond to the dispute, they wont refund you're money. they will only do that if its insured like on ebay.
 
Not true.... I bought a hoodie off of some kid on NS and he said he shipped it. i waited 25 days, never came and filed a dispute. I PM'ed the kid telling him and he gave me some bullshit excuse about why i hadn't gotten it yet and then told me he shipped it. I waited, nothing. I escalated to dispute and PayPal lobbied in my favor: Money back in the bank.
 
i paid for overnight shipping and the pants ahvent came yet. this fucker made me pay for overnight shipping and he is probs keeping the item
 
^ yeah that does suck too man! sounds like im not the only one on here then thats going through this. its hard cuz when ya buy that shit you want it more than the money so you just keep waitin and waitin

my seller was dspin153 that hasnt sent me my boots! sorry if this gives him a bad rep but......i want my shit or my money back
 
all you who are gettin ripped off and hiding the seller's name aren't helping anyone else, spill the beans!

and paypal is pretty good about helping you out, especially if you used a credit card too the your bank can help as well. internet fraud is a BIG DEAL and banks/paypal take it pretty seriously.
 
Call that fucker out. Seriously, make a thread, no matter who the seller is, so the dude or his friends (if he has any) see it and deal with it.

And yes, sometimes paypal refunds a botched sale, other times, no. You are only insured if you go through one of their subsidiaries, namely ebay. For expensive items, dont be afraid to say half now, half after it gets here.
 
ehh that's super sketch for the seller, it's way easier to recover money if you paid through a credit card company/bank, but getting goods back if the buyer doesn't pay the second half is nearly impossible.
 
This business fuck goes by the name of Probuffalo, hesa fucking little scammer, you can tell ez beecause he has no grammar at all. he posts shit on ebay then takes it off when there is 1day or less on it and he will pm you through myebay messages then ask for your personal email
 
Paypal SUCKS ASS. Thanks to them some asshole got away with $6000 from a bunch of people. $1200 from me. I opened a dispute within 24 hours of sending the money and paypal took a fucking MONTH to respond to me. In the meantime the guy had withdrawn all the money. In my opinion, paypal should be shut down. www.paypalsucks.com
