Just wondering if anyone has been, or is, a patroller. What was it like? Did you enjoy it? Im considering joining up, I already had a chat with the patrol director at my hill, and they are looking for people to recruit.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

it could be fun, depending on what mountain you're at. If you're just teling people to slow down on groomers and babysitting it would suck. If you're hiking fresh lines and blowing shit up all day it would be pretty cool

We pay our debt sometimes.

The ski patrol today at Red Lodge, Montana had a downs syndrome attack. We hiked up a 'closed' trail, but it wasn't marked as closed where we hiked in. They saw us coming out of the trail and took our passes...no warning or second chances, they just took them. Then they asked us if we knew the skiers responsibility code and all this crap. Now I hate ski patrol.

My dad did it for a number of years with Mt. Hood ski patrol. He did it for the family, for the free lift tickets and such. He hated the fucking shit out of it. It blew, that's right, babysitting all day long blows man. You've got to be passionate about it if you're going to do it.

I'll tell you where...someplace warm...a place where the beer flows like wine...where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrano...I'm talkin' about a little place called Asssspennnnn...
