Anyone ever created an html page before

so im takin web design class and starting to learn html...im attempting to make a small freeskiing website..it takes a lonng time..anyone else done somethin like this before..what was it/howd it turn out and how long it take..
 
Yes, forever, and I never finished it. Got an A though so who gives a fuck right?
 
took a computer tech class this year and worked with both html codes and dreamweaver....html codes are very hard to use and you wont come out with a final prouduct that looks anything like a web site made with dreamweaver but it should still be fun.... good luck
 
Yea I made an html site when I was about 10 years ago when I was in middle school. Back then that's how a lot of simple sites were done, but they look like crap.
 
phps actually one of the easiest languages for a beginner

how do I make a contact me form that emails me messages. I cant find a good one online ANYWHERE
 
now that i thought before i posted, im not sure if those two articles will be much help to you because they are the absolute basics of forms.

but the Wed Standards Curriculum is can be really useful
 
yea im takin web design class..its with a bunch of reallly stupid kids and we go so slow..i figured id try and make one by looking on the internet..just finished took me 2 days..i checked the book that we learn html out of today...ive learned everything in the book without even opening it..haha straight from the web.
