sometimes i feel embarassed to try a new trick.....cus i know i'm gonna eat it...

does anyone else feel this too..

u know..there is always pressure that u have to do something..since there are so many people waiting to drop in

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
i was for a while when i was learning unnatural spins. i didnt want to look like a complete rook-dawg dropping ugly ass 3s

^Yeah, i'm trying to learn unnatty stuff, I just sneak off into the junior park when no one is looking. But if you are trying a new trick that is really hard, and looks hard. Then when people see you eat it, its not that bad, cuz it was a hard trick.

well if you know your gonna eat it why try it? if i try something new its cause i picture myself doing it and cleaning it. its all in the head sometimes.

^ youve got it all wrong. alot of tricks are nearly impossible to clean first try. i ate it so many times trying rodeos but ive got em dialed now. if i felt like you did, i would have never learned em. cuz i knew i wasnt gonna stomp it half the time, but i came closer and learned from my mistakes.

Astomp has a point. If you think you're going to eat shit you probably will. Even though you're trying a new trick you still try to imagine yourself landing it. Otherwise what's the point?

 
i never ever go into a trick thinking ive never done it before so im gonna eat shit. i picture myself doing it before i ever do it. i can run it through my head step by step. but im not even that good i guess. all i can do is cork 5 which yeah i learned cork 5 first try.

Yea thats not the point no Im sure he doesnt land every trick his first try but ill bet he lands it quicker than all of u who think ur gunna eat it!!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

nope. falling is part of progression. you get up, laugh with your friends, and move one to the next jump/feature. you cant be embarresed, it only holds you back

And get this, on the news the other day they did a big story about old people dropping dead from heat exhaustion. They urged my community to donate fans to keep them alive!! Tell you what, I'll donate my pubes to shove in their mouths, but I'll be damned if I donate anything electrical or useful. - random net person that i found on a site shown to me by apple
