Anyone else's school start this early?

My school district started aug. 22 (we get out may 30) it seems like every other school district starts in september. I seems pretty stupid to me to start when it's still 90 degrees out. Anyone else's start this early?

where do you go to school? i started friday as well and we get out around the same time

I start September 4th in northern NY because my school year practically goes until the 2nd to last week of June, but I get out earlier because of finals for 2 weeks.

I have to do this for two more years because junior year.

Started school on the 12th, school gets out may 28th for all classes (19th is graduation). I feel like going back to school in September is a coastal thing cause that's unheard of in CO.
