Anyone else's school riot last night?

Yeah Illinois State University had a bigass riot last night. I was yellin out my window to some kid who was saying mccain '12 when all of a sudden i hear a sea of yelling. I go outside and easliy 10,000 people were outside, probably half the school. It was pretty cool, except cops were everywhere so there wasnt that much havoc, more just yelling and happiness
 
No but Grant Park looked like a good time. I think I saw that around 180,000 people were there to hear Obama's speech. I wish I was there, such a historic event/ bomb speech. Where there burning cars and crazy shit happening at your school.
 
Nah people were being kinda pussy but there were so many cops it would be stupid to mess anything up (from the part that i saw). I was just in the beginning so it might've escalated.
 
i wasnt there but i guess burlington had a lot of kids marching down that my friend took photos of
 
Lots of kids were running in the streets of bellingham and Fairhaven I heard. I don't think people were being destructive but there were apparently thousands of people marching through the streets, the cops were leading it I think. I doubt half of the kids even knew why they liked Obama.....
 
Once Obama won two of the three black kids in our school ran around yelling in joy. it woke me up. needless to say, i was not pleased
 
my parents live in Chicago and told me there were an estimated 700,000 people outside Grant Park in addition to the 125,000 people admitted into the park. that's a lotta peeps.
 
yeah, people went nuts, obama mustve felt like the fucking man talking infront of all those people
 
I know lol. I wanna go up to the next black kid I see wearing an Obama shirt at my school and be like "So what policies do you agree/disagree with Obama?"
 
yeah my school went pretty crazy. in the towers next to my building you could just hear it erupt once they announced the win and that continued for a while. also i heard various black girls run into the lawn and scream. i thought someone was being raped until i popped my head out of my window and saw them rolling around in the grass.

personally i couldn't get the smile off my face. i really turned into a politcal junkie this past year and it was so worth it. after voting for bush last election i strongly feel that i have erased that mistake. well, maybe on jan. 20th i can say that or in 4 years.

one thing that was kinda fucked up, i went out to go get a tin from the gas station around 1 in the morning and there were these two kids walking around with white hoods on, like they were part of the KKK. it freaked me out. I was just walking through campus and from the darkness of these trees these kids said "Hey buddy". i just kinda looked at them, noticed their hoods, staired for a for a second and said "Hey whats up guys" and kept walking. It was the oddest thing to see in Boulder, Colorado. I didn't even want to question them because my night was going too well. I am still wondering if it was a halloween costume or a KKK thing. it was very odd.
 
Everyone at my school was singing the Russian national anthem and greeting each other as Comrade. A little overboard on both sides, but funny nonetheless.
