Anyone else think Kye Peterson ruined Idea?

I mean there was a lot of flailing going on in the park segment, but Kye Peterson, come on. Couldn't they find a homeless kid who is younger that can throw down better than him. Flail McFlailstein. His style is wack, just because is he 17 but looks 12 doesn't mean he deserves shots. There are way better kids who are younger, who don't flail like they have severe tourettes, but I guess they don't have Oakley's backing. Keep riding the gravy train Kye, welfare is only allowed for 5 years.

but i wans't much of a fan of kye till i saw his little seg in anamoly. he did good. his zero in idea is sick, not so much the skiing but the shot is fucking amazing. he has what 3 shots, he can't ruin idea. kye was sick. nothing could ruin idea

First of all, before clicking on your thread I noticed another one about six or seven threads down that said something about Idea being mediocre. You should stop creating threads, then you wouldn't say such stupid ass shit. I mean shit man, you claimed in the other thread that it was the repetitive nose butters and shit like that that ruined idea, now it's Kye? Secondly, I agree Kye's shots were not out of this world or anything, but you clearly don't understand the vibes behind the flick. They were just rockin' it all season, and if they saw someone they knew or somethin, they would get some shots. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Kye flew to Oregon solely for this movie. I believe it was more like, "hey we're hitting this table, oh, there's kye, we've skiied with him before, let's get a few shots."

Lastly, that was Kye with the 7 off the cliff? I was wondering who that was, sick shot.
 
Aussies are not stupid enough to generalize a whole country. So what they've been saying in this thread is funny. Fuck this thread creator.
 
Compared to Show and Prove, I like Kye's skiing a lot more in Idea. So much smoother, and that cork 7 off the cliff was dope.

In the directors comments, I think Pollard did say that Kye flew down to ski with them, but I could be wrong.

i think your going about this the wrong way, i mean its not like he had a whole segment or anything, he had a few shots which were still pretty good but he didnt have enough to ruin the movie i think. Besides the video was about having fun with your friends and kye peterson obviously hangs out with pep and those guys so even if they did put in another unknown younger better skier it would have the same vibe

first of all, why cant u stereotype a whole country? u can stereotype w/e the fuck you want?

and nothing against americans, i live in america and for the most part people are chill, but there are dickheads, like every other country, so to stereotype a country as stuckup and fat, just means that there are stuck up and fat people in the country. no shit not all people are like that, but wen u havn't been somewhere, you wouldnt know. so i dont get wat this hate towards the us or aus is coming from, the australian simply jumped on the kid for being american, using stereotypes against him, even tho he prolly doesnt fit one, and then the american jumped back on him, saying things that had nothing to do with australians or any stereotypes(thats where i was confused, because everything said about australians so far ive never heard before in my life). the seppo stereotype is just that, a stereotype. other people in other countries dont know any better, so dont get mad over the stereotype hes bringin up, wen the stereotypes against him aren't any truer. and no offense to whoever said it, but the fight against the american gov is nothing like against the australian. to say that we have as many problems is completely redic. a huge majority of the country actually follows and believes in their leader, and well in the us, it aint quite that way

and australian beer....just because u can't take beer that is more than 3-5%, doesnt mean its nasty. u just cant hold down alcohol, simply put ur a pussy. dont diss on another country's alcohol wen ur country practically produces watered-down shit with enough beer in it to get an ant buzzed.

to go back to the thread, well you got owned mr. thread maker. almost every1 disagreed with you. you will never even hit the kind of setups that he does, so whether he flails like a kid on tourets or not, hes still better than you are.
 
and like i said before, its a stereotype. in other words, something that a country is generalized to be about because the media shows that country that way. its not like he made up seppo...its all around the world. and it shouldnt be taken seriously, honestly all the people that got offended and non-jokingly replied with wat they thought was true about australians compared to americans need to get over themselves because you obviously have some self-esteem issues
 
I think that's how sammy was in the film, but i might have been mistaken about kye, maybe he flew down, but regardless, to answer the question posed by the thread, No, I do not think Kye Peterson ruined Idea.

You know, I thought the whole movie was good. It takes a lot of different type of skiers to make a great movie. If all skies were the same and had the same style, wouldnt that be kinda boring? I think all the skiers in the movie made it be an awesome movie! It was a good movie, just let it be at that.

the whole fake-grom thing is pretty weak. i can think of at least 5 other 17 and younger kids off the top of my head who would slay that kid in style and tech and dont get hooked up at all
 
I don't think you can possibly compare the quality of Australian beer to American beer. Have you ever had any Colorado microbrews or any other microbrews from the U.S. They are the shit, and we have so much variety. And yes beer that has no more than 4% alcohol or whatever the fuck they have in New Zealand and Australia is bullshit. Colorado is beer capital of the world nuggas.

And no, Kye Didn't ruin Idea? Did you see that cork 7 off that cliff, that was fucking sick. And he also threw like left and right side switch nines or something which is sick. Kye had like two shots in the movie, how can you say he ruined it?
