Anyone else think its fucked up that Pollard doesnt ride his own Bacons?

THIS is what im saying... and to BamBam and everyone else, you all are talking about marketing blah blah blah, but dont you think it would be better marketing if the public at least THOUGHT he was riding his own ski? he could've taken five minutes out of his day to get a pair of normal Sir Francis Bacons, am i wrong?

i dont give a fuck how Pollard's ski three years from now is going to ski, or how much rocker it has, i want to know about the product im looking to purchase, and it seems to me that is unfair to the consumer despite all the progressiveness, testing whatever.

Your anthems are losing their camber because they are cheap shitty skis. The skis are actually breaking, you can warranty them for that. It's definitely not a good thing.

tanner doesn't ride his pro model much so yea....but pollard is the man and can what ever he wants.i do believe that he should ride ride the actual bacos in the product vid....like the guy said bout Tj riding special AR6 cuz the would break the normal 1s.....and i doubt that abma ride a 182 czar? simon was using the 08 Dumont's but wit the 09 graphic ...so suck it up and deal wit it.

Dont diss eric man.. whew.. i hung out with him at evogear last night, he gave me free stuff, signed my hat and posters, i also hung out with chris benchetler andy mahre pep fujas and sammy carlson. i got some free bandanas hats and dakine viper gloves.

How do you know that Eric Pollard does not ski the bacon?

YOU DONT! You watched a one min video that had 2 shots of him on a protype ski and you think its 'fucked up' he doesnt ride his own promodel... what??

OK OK, everybody calm down, it's Sunday and lets not get worked up here.

1. I like that NASCAR analogy, makes sense sort of. Eric does ride a few skis that have Bacon graphics on them, its not hard to see. However all the clips in the video show situations where a Bacon would handle great, deep powder, BC jumps, variable conditions. We're not going to force him to ski different skis in front of cameras for marketing purposes, he needs to be on the ski shape he feels most comfortable with right?

2. Eric has 3 pro models, and since he doesn't have 6 legs, he can't ride all of them at once. The Bacon is the best or both worlds, a ski that is tooled for a skier who is going everywhere all day and wants a quiver of 1 ski. When Eric is filming it's usually in powder or park, very specific situations for his more specifically designed ski shapes so he can have the best ski for his situation, the Liz and EP. So intern the Bacon is taken out by him on the days where he's just crusing the mountain probably not in front of a cam. This is the footage we have access to and the footage we use to make our edits. The point of the videos is to educate you about the ski in a better way than listening to someone else talk about Eric's skis, its best you hear it from the creators mouth right? And to make it less boring we add some kickass action footage in there too (and sweet animations). Hope you enjoy them.

3. No LINE ski has rocker, the EP Pro, Mo'Ship and P130 have early rise which is: Contact points start earlier in from the tips, ski then rises up at a long slight angle, see the tech section on LineSkis.com/product/ep. Hearsay about the Bacon's being changed is hearsay, lets focus on what is actually in stores, not something that will be in like 2030.

To make a long post even longer, please dont think we're misleading you, we're using the materials we have at hand to communicate in the most entertaining, informative, non-boring way of how rad this ski can be for you, the skier. That's it, thats all, have a good season.
