Anyone else think bern helments run extremely small?

I tried on a XL and couldn't even get it on my head. In Giro I am L/XL

Yeah man i have the same issue. My head is quite large and bulbous and it wont even get close to fitting into the berns.

i think they fit small but if you cut out the foam right they fit just fine

Yeah, berns run really small. My friend has an xl and i could barely get it over my head with even a really skinny hat on. I can't get my brother's medium bern on even without any padding in it. It's kind of ridiculous, but i think they make really big sizes too. like 3xl. but it doesn't help my self-esteem regarding my big-ass head.
