Anyone else still go to the Yoke Collection site for nostalgia?

when u a old-new-wave core skier and u just need feel something so u go to the abandoned yoke site and watch that video and wish for one more clothing drop

but either way mad respect to Ian, Shane, and all those dudes. they kinda all doin their own thing now
 
I go back periodically and listen to the 3 Amateur Ski Radio episodes that are up on Soundcloud. I like to think that the other episodes are saved on a hard drive somewhere and that I will get to listen to them at some point. Like [tag=251615]@BallZach420[/tag] said, nobody did it like Yoke.

Anyone selling any old yoke stuff? I would kill for one of the old painter caps they use to sell.

Seconded, I don't have enough yoke hoodies either. Also always wanted a pair of yoke pants :/

I feel so blessed with my yoke apparel, I got da orange comet and the yellow shadow wolf hoodies from the last couple drops. then a fleece balacava, a t shirt, then an old ass brain hoodie

sadly no pant

The brain hoodie is so gas, I wish I had one. You got a pretty good collection homie. Mine is decent, I got a fleece hood, white yokeco. hoodie, a white ghost long sleeve, and a anorak shell.

any homie with pants was a lucky Mf

I got two pairs of pants, brown and black. They are very nice

how are you going to drop Ian and Shane on a Yoke thread and not even mention Erik Olson, the other head behind Yoke, the first man to do a switch 10 in a pipe.... u are a fake fan
 
Reading this thread in a yoke hoodie rn.

I’ll toss some more nostalgia in here though: the edit that made me want to make the pilgrimage to mt.Hood, several spring passes later and I still vibe with it so hard.

man, that old-new wave era was peak. it's what really sold me to skiing. heavily regret not buying yoke though. i believed i had all the time in the world to buy some. still look back to some of the edits and movies from that period. The Bunch were like a bible to me at times
 
Man I loved the yoke vids/clothes back when I was getting into free skiing, such good memories. Got like 5 hoodies and one of the booger jackets plus a few shirts and hats around. I’d like to hope that they’ll still do a few limited runs now and then, always felt more like a project than a company
 
I love yoke so much, it's sad to see them MIA but i'm grateful for the two hoodies I still have. They're my favorite hoodies for sure
 
I have 3 Yoke hoodies and a coach jacket and thats pretty much all I've worn for the past 6 years but i think it'll be time to switch it up this year as they're all getting pretty worn out but I'll definitely keep them for the nostalgia. Got to meet Erik Olson at TAFT 3 years ago and he was real cool, told me thank you for supporting Yoke and I told him tyat I loved his brand. I wish I had a brain melter hoodie or some more earlier stuff

Erik retired that screen years ago... not to mention he said he's done with Yoke. He "wants it to slowly die out like a band", and Shane has offered to buy it from him to keep it going and he wants it to fade away like Joy Division

Tell me - why you guys like this brand so much - was it the image / vibe? Quality of product? Or all of it together?

First and foremost, they released sick content.

second, they had cool and original designs, not just the exact same logo over and over

cant say the quality was mind blowing but judging by this thread a lot of it has held up really well
 
The quality was unreal, I still have 2 of the og brain melter hoodies and besides some Perma stains they're still holding together

Brainmelter hoodie is one of the few items of clothing I will never get rid of. I might have some other older Yoke stuff in the stash I could pass on to someone though. Will check when I'm back in London.
 
I heard from a reliable source that when asked directly about the future of yoke it was cryptically said that it might not be done, but very cryptic
 
I would trade a size L shadow wolf hoodie for an older yoke xl hoodie lmk, preferably brainmelter but doesn’t have to be
