Anyone else sick of family guy?

so i was watching it today cause it was on tv and the entire time i was just thinking, "wow...."

the show has gotten so old; it was funny like 3 years ago. when will they learn that using the same material over and over again isnt funny. all they do is sing a song or do that semi gay semi high pitched voice. and the only way they can think of including a funny thing is to put it in a completely irrelevant clip and refer to it by saying "...like that time when...."

im sorry seth macfarlane, buy "heh heh! alllright!" just isnt funny anymore.

and everyone quotes it incessantly. wicked annoying if you ask me

i enjoy the simpsons, because they are actually able to incorporate their material into the plot. and some of it actually takes intelligence and a knowledge of current events to understand; its not just dumb humor on the same level of intelligence as a fart

I've seen about 90% of the episodes twice at least. I know the majority of the jokes and they aren't that funny when I see them.

For some reason though, it's a lot funnier when you talk about it.
 
yea, ive become quite sick of it as well. the old episodes are good once in a while, but theres only so much of "like that time when", unneccessary stuttering, 5 minute musical renditions, brutal repetition, and extensively stretched out stupid scenes that i can take.

and yeah, the unecessary stuttering is so fucking annoying. and they drag everything out, it gets so annoying

And I still find it pretty funny, I get the good chuckle every few minutes, but it's way funnier when you're watching it with people.
 
i know this kid that quotes everything to family guy...can be funny hearing it cause sometimes im like whaaat i dont even remember that

i think the simpsons are getting old. the new ones just copy the family guy style of humor. the old ones were so damn witty and funny. Haha i have to say though i love the stupid funny of the new family guy episodes. hahaha.

i'm a massive family guy fan, seen every episode a bunch of times and i'm not getting sick of it but it's becoming less consistently funny. early on it was pretty much constant laughing, now there're 1 or 2 funny moments in each episode, still clever and entertaining but it's gone seriously downhill. some of the random clips to waste time are funny but some really piss me off, like when stewie does that dance with the sailor that's filmed real or the country music shit, super annoying. these past few seasons have been pretty lame but i have faith in the show, it's still has its moments of making me lol everywhere
 
yeah im getting sick of family guy, not because they use the same material over and over again though. i watch it every night on adult swim and most of the times they show old episodes. im pretty sure ive seen almost every episode already.
 
Stopped watching it after like the 2nd season, all of the jokes are the exact same in my opinion and I just got bored.

South Park/The Office always provide something new and exciting.

i think its all the same like there no new humor its all the same kind of humor which isnt that great anymoreit entertains me and ill watch it when its the only thing onbut its not that funny
 
i "laughed out loud" a lot when i read that

i dont really make it top priority to watch on tv anymore cause ive seen most of the episodes.... though i do like it how they make fun of different media stars and other shows.....

....and now ladies and gentleman mister Kanye Twittie..... haha
 
Old episodes are funny. The new ones are just awful though, it's like they ran out of ideas and just stopped trying.
