A friend of mine tore his ACL just after he got a new setup for the season. Missed out on the entire year. Heal up quick. I hope to see some fire from your summer setup next year!

I think we can expect john to drop something hot. Rumor has it he may be teaming up with a crew for the season. Can't confirm though. I can confirm he is affiliated with the illuminati though

I feel you man. I'll be missing ski season this year...I even won a season pass at a comp last winter. I broke my neck and it should heal good but there's a 10% chance I might never be able to ski again. The bone broke in two and fragments flew off....Its a miracle im not paralyzed..My neck also isnt 100% stable...Its stable but not perfect so were waiting to see how it heals...surgery might happen in the future and that could make me miss up to 2 years after the injury. I've lost my six pack, my little muscle I had, and 20 lbs from not being active. Im not supposed to lift more then 5 pounds and there was talk of me being home schooled. Im lucky. When I went to the hospital I met a son and mother. The son was paralyzed from the waist down...it happened around the same time as my injury in a diving accident. He also broke his neck. This winter im likely helping out at my local resort with judging comps and helping with the terrain park. I'll also be filming alot when my friends go...Im not gonna be able to ski but I will still get to ski in a way.....not really tho. Im happy to be alive, happy to not be paralyzed, and looking forward to getting back to skiing sometime if possible. "STAY POSITIVE" you will bring your self down if your negative.

god damn making my knee injury seem like nothing, thats gnarly af dude wishing you a speedy recovery and sending positive vibes your way. I'm also getting out and filming the homies as much as i can hopefully, a lot more fun than chilling at home doing nothing. before my injury skiing was my life, not even gonna lie i loved it more than any girlfriend i ever had. when you have a passion like that its hard to not give everything you have into it, because i truly loved skiing. not many people can say that they truly love something, but i do. when you have such a strong passion for something and it gets ripped away from you for something such as a knee injury it fucking sucks, but it also makes you love that passion so much more and appreciate all the days you were able to spend on the mountain. I'm gonna give everything i have, mentally and physically towards rehabbing so i can be able to ski again as fast as possible

Partially tore my meniscus. Ill probably end up skiing this season but definitely won't be riding nearly as hard.

Tbh I'm still scared I won't be able to ski, even though its most likely a partial tear.

I'm so sorry to both of you guys though, especially the guy with the broken neck. My boy did the same thing to his neck diving and had to wear a brace for like 8 months. Shit sucks man. + Vibes both of you

damn bro, vibes. i get how you're scared cause before my MRI, i was believed to have torn my meniscus. that scared the shit out of me. literally dropped my phone when i got the call letting my know it was my ACL. i think its safe to say that any injury sucks haha

Ya that's for sure....even if the doctor says I probably shouldnt ski for the rest of my life I likely will end up doing it anyway...Just taking it easy. I'm just hating this brace....it's so restrictive and annoying. The worst is I'm dreaming about something or im dreaming im skiing and I throw a Misty or rodeo and then I wake up and I can't move my neck a centemeter and remember that this is reality and the fun shit was fake.

Same thing happened to me, minus the whole brace thing. First time I ever lucid dreamed and it was dope as fuck. Imagine an endless mountain, where you can ski as fast as you want, go as big as you want and you can imagine any feature you want. I was jibbing everything with the Illest style I've ever seen, more than in any edit or ski movie. It all fealt so real until I woke up and realized I won't be skiing for a while

I feel you bro! The doc at the ER said I could go back to activity in 2-3 months.... When the specialist said I can't do activity for a year, and when he said it's getting worse and I might need surgery /there's a chance I could never do some activitys again I was so bummed... I felt the same as you...

Damn dog, shit is too hard. I feel like anyone on this website is waaaay too young to be experiencing this kinda shit. Guess that's what happens when you're a skier haha. My body's gonna be that of a 40 year old before I'm 18 lol

Look up lucid dreaming and how to control them, as I'm sure you'll have a lot of time to master the skill of lucid dreaming. Not gonna get in too much detail as you can google but imagine a world where you can do whatever you want in full control. Ski around a mountain, fuck hot bitches, literally fly. It's dope

Torn ACL and medial meniscus with some articular cartilage damage got me sidelined this season as well. Actually skied all last season on it without knowing it was blown, my knee was occasionally sliding out of place when skiing or tramping so I went to see my general doctor a couple times and he kept saying my knee was fine (I guess general practitioners don't know shit about knee injuries) finally got an MRI a year later and what do you know my ACL and meniscus were shredded went to see a knee specialist and before he even saw the MRI he played with my knee for 30 seconds and knew it was blown. Got surgery with a patellar tendon graft on July 16th and they had to remove part of my meniscus that's when they found out I had articular cartilage damage which basically means I already have an old man knee what's most frustrating about the whole thing is if my general practitioner had referred me to a specialist when I first went to see him I may have been able to avoid meniscus and cartilage damage from skiing and tramping a whole season on an ACL deficient knee. But I hope to be able to start mellow skiing this spring and perhaps go to Australia or South America next summer and get back into skiing park somewhat aggressively. Get ready for some serious low points during recovery but stick through it and you should heal up well, I'm starting to feel relatively good again. What kind of graft are you getting? Best of luck with your surgery

Don't worry man, I've seen people bounce back from full meniscal tears in less than a 2 months... you should be good to go by ski season
